do you have any recomendations for trainers who can help w bigger dogs from the shelter? trying to get them leash trained and basic manners so they can get adopted. some of them have been there too long! Please if you know of any
Hello, thank you for the message. We train all sizes. At this time we don’t have the personnel to train pro bono to help dogs get adopted. With that said we donate and support the Delaware Humane Society on a monthly basis.

Recently a german shepard was added to our home. She is 4 years old and great with people. She has attacked one of our other dogs unprovoked 3 times. Will Training get her to stop? The other dog is much smaller and I don't want her hurt.

It has been a little more than a month since we brought our Goldendoodle, Oakley, to the two-week boarding and training program while my wife and I went on our honeymoon. We are absolutely amazed with the results when we picked her up. We immediately noticed how much better she responds to commands and impulse control.
Josh and Brittany have been exceptional and gave us the tools to continue training at home. We have slowly transitioned into off leash walks and training sessions. Just an example on the progress Oakley has made, during trick or treating, Oakley was placed on her cot for the entire duration with no issues. All the parents and kids were amazed at how well trained she was! The training that Oakley went through not only improved her life by having more structure, it improved our daily lives allowing more flexibility along with the ability to bring her places we weren't able to before with no worries!
I would recommend Lead the Way K9 to anyone! It has been worth every penny.

The BEST experience! From the very first phone call to the day I picked up Annie the communication, flexibility, support, education, etc was all amazing! Annie also got groomed prior to pick up from her board and train and she looked and smelled amazing. Highly recommend grooming too! Can’t say enough wonderful things about Lead the Way K9!

Lead the way K9 is nothing short of amazing! Both of our dogs went through their 2 week board and train program and I can’t give over the difference. The barking at anything and everything is gone, the stay until told, they love the structure, and they are so calm now. Walking is also much easier and less stressful. No more pulling, barking, or being aggressive towards other dogs or people. We were thankful for the consistent communication and photo/video updates through socials on play time and the training process. I highly recommend getting a full service groom as well. The haircuts were so adorable. Last I can’t thank Josh, Brittany, and their amazing team enough. Training the boys and then teaching us all we need to know to have happy yet calm dogs. Thank you all so much!!!

This was the first time we boarded our 2 dogs who like a lot of attention. We could tell they were taken care of and loved being there and the staff. We would highly recommend and will use them in the future.
