Lead K9

We had such a great experience with Jonathan at Lead K9! We brought our 8-month-old terrier mix to him for a two-week board and train, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. What really impressed us was that Jonathan didn’t just train our dog and send her home. He took the time to do two additional training sessions with us so we could fully understand the commands, how to properly reinforce the training, and all of the dos and don’ts to make sure we could continue her progress at home. That extra time and effort made us feel so much more confident and prepared. Jonathan was also incredibly patient and accommodating with our 4-year-old and mother in law being involved in the process. He made sure everyone understood how to interact with and communicate with our dog, which meant a lot to our family. You can truly tell that Jonathan cares about the dogs he works with and wants the training to be successful long-term, not just while they’re in his care. We are extremely grateful for everything he did for our pup and our family. We highly recommend Jonathan and Lead K9 to anyone looking for professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate dog training! 🐾❤️

Gus and I just wrapped up our fourth week working with Jonathon at Lead K9, and the experience has been nothing short of fantastic! I rescued Gus, my pitbull, back in September. He came with some fear and anxiety issues, along with leash reactivity from his previous life, which we knew we needed to address before these behaviors got worse. Initially, I was skeptical about whether professional training could make much of a difference. But after just one session with Jonathan, I saw immediate improvement. What I love about Jonathan's approach is that he doesn't just train your dog—he works with you as the owner, too. Thanks to his guidance, I now feel so much more confident in my ability to train and communicate with Gus. The training facility is top-notch, and the group sessions they host on Sundays are a great opportunity to work with your dog in a controlled environment with plenty of distractions. It’s been a perfect way to reinforce Gus’s progress. I'm really excited to continue working with Lead K9 and see where Gus and I can go from here!

I was lucky enough to be referred to Jonathan at Lead K9. I had a rescue pittie that had no training and both he and I needed training to be successful. It is a great place in a safe environment and Jonathan worked magic for both Kuzco and I. He was very thorough in helping me understand how to make us both successful, by demonstrating the positive and consistent communication.
