Pat was wonderful to work with. My husband and I were looking for training for our newly adopted 4 year old Dobermann who was jumping up and nervous and reactive on walks. Not only did Pat show us what to do, but explained why we were doing it, helping us understand what was going on in our dog's mind in these stressful moments. Pat made excellent use of all of our time and we learned a ton in our sessions. She also provided helpful evaluation follow-up resources for us to refer to and reinforce what we learned. My wife and I recently adopted a 1 1/2 year old mini Aussie who came from a puppy mill. Though very sweet most of the time, she also was insecure which led to her lashing out at our 9 year old standard Aussie. When we concluded that we could not fix this behavior on our own, we reached out to Pat. Pat came to our home and offered strategies to help with the bad behavior. We recently adopted a 6 1/2 year old lab mix who had never had any training. My husband and I had never adopted an older dog so we needed Pat. She was terrific and trained us how to handle our Sadie. Now we are able to walk off leash with our girl when we are in the country and she also walks beautifully on a leash without pulling. I highly recommend Pat.
