Laska Dog Training

We want to give a big shoutout to our dog trainer, Johanna, for successfully helping us with Chica's socialization and training! The fact that Chica quickly became house-trained and made incredible progress in recall, leash walking, and basic commands speaks to Johanna's professional skills. The introduction to the transport crate for the move to Germany went smoothly as well. Johanna provided detailed training materials and promptly addressed our questions via email and phone. We continue to use video sessions to discuss Chica's progress and any further questions. In our eyes, Johanna is an excellent dog trainer!

This review is long overdue! What can I say about Johanna that the others haven't already said? She is truly amazing in what she does and just a wonderful & kind person. I honestly look at our dog now and just can't believe the change that we often remark - who is this dog? He is definitely a changed dog.. and can actually be mellow at home! Which is remarkable. I just never imagined this would be possible .. and just allowing him to free roam…of course it isn't without our part as well. As much as Johanna trained Loki - she helped train us too! We have both come very far and just did the work. Johanna is a true professional. After our initial meetings, Johanna provided handouts and videos to help throughout the program, as well as meetups to see us in action at dog parks. After the sessions too, she would follow up on our progress and to make sure we are continuing our training. Thank you so much Johanna!

Johanna is truly amazing! We were lucky enough to work with her to train our new puppy, Pattoo, and it was a great experience. she uses positive reinforcement techniques and was fantastic at explaining why they work so well. We spent about 3-4 weeks with Johanna, and during that time, she spent an hour with Pattoo three days a week, teaching him new behaviors. She then followed up with us in another session to transfer those skills so that we could practice them during the rest of the week. Johanna's detailed lists and organized documentation made training our pup a fun and easy experience. She is not only knowledgeable and skilled but also a genuinely kind and caring person who clearly loves what she does. She went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, even if they were outside of her working hours. We truly appreciated her dedication and willingness to help us. Overall, we cannot recommend Johanna highly enough!
