Johanna has been working with me and my puppy for the last two months, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her guidance and the well-crafted, thoughtful effort she brings to every session. She’s not only incredibly skilled at training dogs, but also fantastic at working with the humans involved—which is no small feat. Johanna is super organized, super responsible, communicates clearly, and despite her considerable training and expertise, she also knows the limits of her knowledge, like when a veterinary opinion is needed, which I really respect. She’s kind, patient, upbeat, and my pup absolutely adores her. Thanks to her, he’s becoming a happy, well-mannered, well-socialized dog—and I’ve learned a ton along the way. Working with her has been a total joy and I can’t recommend her more highly.

Johanna Hadam is a terrific dog trainer. She worked with our large lab mix, Barney, for several months, focusing on leash reactivity, pulling on walks, and jumping up, as well as teaching basic commands and a strong recall. Johanna is very professional and committed to positive dog training, and her experience is evident. The program she created for us (working one-on-one with our dog followed by coaching sessions with us) was carefully thought out, and she was always organized and punctual. She followed each session with a report and detailed homework. Her coaching sessions with us gave us the skills to use with Barney and helped us understand our dog. We liked Johanna’s realistic approach (to both dog and owners), and the fact that she didn’t come down too hard on us when we didn’t always do our homework! Johanna has a great personality and is a joy to work with. We recommend her highly.
