I started working with Las Olas Dog trainers when my puppy, Smokey, was just under a year old. Working with this team was such a blessing. Smokey has grown tremendously and my relationship with him continues to deepen as we continue our training experience. Of course, it’s important to know with any sentient being, dogs require consistent training, time, and commitment. I always look forward to my time training with Smokey. I am so appreciative of our experience with this team and look forward to our refresher lessons!

When I signed up with Las Olas Dog Trainers, I fully expected to be working with Dylan. I had been following the company on IG for quite a while, and during my consult, before I had even gotten my puppy, I had reserved my first training sessions with Dylan because I knew she would give me the results I needed. During our first sessions, my puppy was making great progress. Then, to my surprise, I was transitioned to Kyra an employee for the remainder of my training. Looking back, I couldn’t be happier that happened. Kyra went far beyond what I expected from a trainer. She was knowledgeable, patient, consistently followed up, and genuinely cared about my puppy’s success. That’s why I was surprised when, after my package ended, Dylan’s partner told me that my puppy would likely be doing better had she been trained by Dylan, and suggested that if I purchased another package, Dylan could help address the remaining issues. The irony is that Dylan was who I thought I was hiring in the first place. She was very involved during the consultation and sign-up process, I had every reason to believe she would be the one training my puppy. At no point was it communicated that I would be handed off to another trainer, I didn’t recall seeing one other than Dylan training on their IG. Fortunately that employee turned out to be amazing. Kyra is an absolute gem. If someone asked me who they should work with at LODT, I would recommend her without hesitation.

I started bringing Eden to train with Dylan and Gabe when she was just 2 months old, and I truly can’t say enough amazing things about them. From such a young age, Eden learned so much and continued to improve with every single session. The progress we saw in her behavior, confidence, and overall training was incredible. Even after our initial package ended, we signed up for 6 more sessions because Eden loved it so much—and honestly, so did I. Dylan and Gabe create such a positive, supportive environment, and it really shows in the dogs they work with. Dylan especially is incredibly knowledgeable and truly understands dogs on a deeper level. Because of her, my Eden girl has grown into the most well-behaved, happy, and amazing dog. I’m so grateful we found them and would recommend them to anyone looking for the best trainers out there!

I can’t say enough good things about Dylan and Kyra. They are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all facets of dog training, and it really shows in how they approach both the dog and the owner. Before working with them, I had fallen three times walking my dog and was honestly at my breaking point. Within just a few lessons, they were able to completely change her behavior. The difference has been night and day. What I appreciated most is that they don’t just train your dog, they teach you how to properly communicate and handle your dog yourself. That makes such a huge difference long term. Sending a dog away might give temporary results, but Dylan and Kyra make sure your dog learns how to behave with you, in your real life environment. They’re also just genuinely great people. They’re patient, supportive, and clearly care about both the dogs and their owners. You never feel judged, only helped. They take the time to explain the why behind everything, which made me feel so much more confident handling my dog on my own. Winnie has improved so much since working with them. Walks are no longer stressful, she’s more calm, more responsive, and honestly just a happier dog overall. I feel like I have control again, and that’s something I didn’t think was possible before. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Working with Dylan and Kyra was one of the best decisions I’ve made for both me and my dog.

I had a really positive first impression of Las Olas Dog Training Co. I felt confident investing in their program based on what was promised. However, after just a handful of sessions, I was unexpectedly handed off to an assistant—and from that point on, I never heard from the owners again. There was no check-in, no follow-up, and no real sense that they were still involved in my dog’s progress. That said, their assistant was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about both me and my dog. Her ability to communicate, connect, and get results was incredible. Honestly, I wish I could have hired her directly. My disappointment lies with the ownership and overall structure of the program. When you invest a couple thousand dollars, you expect a certain level of care, communication, and accountability—especially from the people who sold you the program. Instead, it ended up feeling transactional, with little follow-through. I wasn’t even informed when my sessions were complete, which added to the frustration. For a program that markets itself as comprehensive, the lack of oversight and communication from the owners was really disappointing. At the end of it all, I’m not even sure they know how my dog is doing.
