Jacqueline Gaillard is one of the few dog trainers in the Los Angeles area who has degrees in Exotic Animal Training, Animal Behavior Management, Wildlife Education & Sociology. She began working with dogs and cats as a walker and pet sitter on the west side of Los Angeles as a teenager. LA’s DogTrainer is amazing! Highly recommend Jacqueline to train any animal! We met Jacqueline about 10 years ago when we adopted Bambi from a shelter. She came to our home and trained Bambi along with our senior dog Tiger to not go to the street after our gate opened enabling cars to drive in and and out of our long driveway. Recently, we adopted Chelsea and asked Jacqueline for help. Jacqueline showed us how to introduce Chelsea to our family, including Bambi, by having the dogs meet together as well as on the street before we brought Chelsea home. She is knowledgeable, funny, and a wonderful trainer. You will not go wrong with your new or old pet!

Jacqueline has helped my dog Penny immensely over the past two years. When I first adopted Penny, she was shy, fearful, and reactive. Only through Jacqueline's training and support has she been able to blossom into the amazing social dog she is today. Jacqueline has incredible expertise and knowledge thanks to her work both as an exotic animal trainer and experienced dog trainer. We consult her on difficult cases at the rescues I volunteer with, and she is one of the most giving people I have ever met. She truly puts the animals first and will do anything she can to help your dog (and you) succeed!

I first met Jaqueline in 2011 when my newly adopted adult dog had some major behavioral issues. I had a few private sessions, took the group classes, and attended a puppy socialization class (even though my dog wasn’t a puppy). We struggled, and ended up repeating the basic obedience class a few times, but Jacqueline was committed to helping get his behavior under control. She was extremely patient and kind throughout the process. Our dog isn’t perfect, but he got a heck of a lot better! It’s become clear over the years of knowing her that she has a real commitment to and love for animals.
