Lakeshore K9 Training

I recently finished the 6 week obedience training with Jeff and I can’t say enough about how incredibly happy I am with the end result! We have a 7 month old standard poodle who has an incredible personality, but needed training. With each class we learned something new. Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable and the hour classes flew by. You can tell he’s great at what he does and genuinely enjoys training. I now have this bond with my pup that I didn’t have before. He listens to every command and loves making me happy. I feel like I understand my dog differently and look at him like my pal and not just a dog. We also did the extra recall class at the end which is absolutely worth it! It’s so liberating knowing my dog can go walk around and be a dog, but when called, he comes running right to me. Hands down, this was the best money spent because now I will genuinely enjoy his company. I absolutely recommend everyone to train with Jeff and I promise you will not be disappointed!!!!!!

My wife and I highly recommend Jeff for dog training. Within six weeks our dog, who was a little bit over 1 year old, had no more reactivity to hearing our neighbors in the backyard, no more reactivity to deer and other wildlife, significantly less reactivity to other dogs, and she can reliably walk off leash and come back when called. Prior training we tried with her elsewhere did not work to address her reactivity and ultimately confused her more, making her think her job was to protect us and bark at everything. With all of the glowing reviews for Jeff we wondered if it was too good to be true but we soon understood why everyone had such good things to say. With Jeff’s knowledge and experience, we are able to give our dog so much more freedom to relax and play which leads to us being significantly less worried about taking her out to new, unfamiliar places. The training lessons and instructions for practicing in between sessions are straightforward. And we have what we need to continue training her on our own. We can’t thank Jeff enough!
