Lakeshore K9 Training

Jeff has helped us change our independent, large, puppy into a more obedient and content pet. I was beginning to think this 11-month Great Pyrenees puppy was too much to handle until Jeff "trained" me how to train her. Our pup had a negative experience with an older, underground e-fence, so I was skeptical that the e-collar would work. Jeff worked with that timidity and while she is a work in progress, when the "Good Girl Collar" is on, this is a dog that knows it is time to be obedient. We are still learning and she still has some quirks about the collar, but the improvement walking and in her overall behavior is outstanding. No longer does she jump and bite at the leash, or lunge at every bird, dog, car, bike, etc. I have been to group training classes, which in my experience are more about socialization than training. There is no comparison to the individualized training plan that Jeff gives each dog. I highly recommend Jeff to anyone who is willing to put in the time to train their dog properly.

I can't say enough good things about training with Lakeshore K9. I rescued a 2 year old large breed dog that was not socialized well, was difficult to walk, and almost impossible to have around other dogs. After the 6 week session, I am able to walk her easily around other dogs, she knows lots of commands and is doing great with obedience. I went from feeling way over my head with a dog that I couldn't control to feeling confident in having all the tools needed to work with her. The training was personalized, thorough, and fun - I would highly recommend Jeff!
