Kyser K9 Dog Training

I recently went on a two week vacation and took that opportunity to place my dog, Flynn, in a board and train program. After a lot of research, I came across Kyser K9 Dog Training and knew it was the right approach that I was looking for, where my dog would be placed in a home environment with the trainer (instead of in kennels with a couple dozen other dogs). Shelby from Kyser K9 came out to do a meet and greet, and immediately saw Flynn’s issues and formulated a plan for the board and train program. While I was on vacation, I received frequent updates on Flynn’s progress — pictures, videos, timelapses, and even explanations of the commands and behaviors Flynn was learning, so I too could learn what I needed to do for when I got back. Picking Flynn up at the end of the program was amazing. I rang the doorbell, Shelby opened the door, and on the other side of the room, Flynn was patiently waiting for me in his “Place”, and didn’t flinch until after I walked up to him and the “break” command was given! Shelby then walked me through all the behaviors and had me practice loose-leash walking with him so I knew what to do when we got home. All in all, it was fantastic experience, and Flynn is a much calmer and more manageable dog now. I highly recommend their services!
