KW Happy Dogs

**update** Just wanted to add that prior to Kirsten, my dogs were reactive when we passed a dog that was across a 4 lane road... Now.. we go to Fort Funston .. one of the girls stays on leash.. but we have stress free / incident free strolls and my other dog runs merrily in the beach.. I'm forever greatful to Kirsten ! ----- original post ------ Kirsten has made such a change to my life. I adopted 2 adult large dogs that were close to impossible to walk together due to their anxiety. I would fear coming across any dogs and worried about any additional damage I was doing to my dogs.. Kirsten is simply amazing. She is both sensitive to the Dog she is assisting and the parent/guardian she is actually training. We have used her wisdom and techniques for an amazing adoption of a one year old Pyrenees. Her style fit perfectly with our own philosophies and solutions were found for our issues. Planning to schedule with her again for a "touch up" visit to make sure we are holding our commitments to our rescue dog and our happy family!!

You will not be disappointed with Kirsten and her wealth of knowledge and skills as a certified behaviorist/trainer. I live almost an hour away but make the trek because I have been so impressed with how she's helped me and my rescue pittie, Leo who has some reactivity towards other dogs. After our first meeting, Kirsten provided me with various skills to help Leo stay calm around other dogs. She follows up with a detailed email of the session including an outline of the skills to be practiced. In just a short time, there has been incredible progress with Leo and his ability to shift from high energy to calm around his triggers. I feel like I've hit the jackpot with Kirsten and I am so grateful because, in the end, we all really do want Happy Dogs!
