Kudos 2 Canines

Updated Review: This is my second time training a puppy with Kudos 2 Canines, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I trained my first dog with them for over 2.5 years, and the results were incredible. With consistent training, I could take my 75 lb. dog anywhere—trails, restaurant patios, malls, hotels—and people constantly complimented how well-behaved he was. Even dog sitters asked if he could come back! When he crossed the rainbow bridge, we were heartbroken—but now with a new puppy, there was no question: we’re back with Kudos 2 Canines. Our puppy recently passed the "Smart Start Puppy" class and is now moving on to "Jr. Achievers"—we’re so proud of his progress and excited to keep going! The trainers at Kudos 2 Canines are knowledgeable, current on the latest techniques, and adapt their approach to fit each dog’s unique needs. They use positive reinforcement, help you work through any challenges, and make sure you understand how to support your dog’s growth at home. You and your dog will love the journey! Previous Review: I have to give Robyn a high, high five on training me so I can train my dog. When my dog was a puppy, I started puppy classes with Robyn and as he grew, we continued training with Robyn. Robyn had me expose my dog to a lot of different environments and stimuli. The training was repetitive, but repetition is necessary so it sticks - with the handler and the dog. This past week we spent our time at dog camp and he did amazing. There were about 50 dogs and my dog has never met any of them. We were also in a new environment and in another state. While at the week long camp, he was amazing!! He was excited at the beginning, but quickly became calm. I haven’t used a crate on him for a long time, but he is crate trained, due to Robyn. He did fantastic in a soft crate, even when I had to walk away for awhile. My dog got off-leash beach privileges on day 1. I’ve only paddle boarded once and at camp, my dog had no fear of getting on the paddle board and relaxing in a down. All these new asks to do new activities, he tried without fear and that is due to the training philosophy of Robyn. Hiking with a bunch of dogs, my dog was focused on me and did great in a pack. I’m so happy that we trained with Robyn to give us a foundation to give us the skills to adapt to new environments.

I adopted a timid puppy a couple months ago, we got her from CAWS. One of the training places that was recommended from them was Kudos 2 Canines. I signed up for there confident canine group class to start building her confidence and getting her more comfortable with people, other dogs, new places and such. I highly recommend Kudos 2 Canines, all of the workers are amazing! They give you such valuable tools and exercises to work on with your dog with whatever behavior issue it may be. I am now going to take my puppy and my senior dog and doing the bright beginning’s class. My puppy has improved so much and I have learned so much about my dog, even with previous dog training experience from different companies. They also offer school days, my puppy has attended one class so far and it is so beneficial!
