Positive Reinforcement Training. We are members of The Association of Professional Dog Trainers International and AKC Evaluators and adhere to their standards of practice. No prong, chokers, or e-collars involved in our training. All breeds puppy through adult welcome. We stress the importance of owner commitment and the discipline to follow through with professional instruction and training. Certified Obedience Trainer and AKC listed Evaluator with over 40 years experience working with dogs. Heated and air conditioned facility. Outdoor distraction and on location training, Therapy Dog Prep and Service Dog Task training and guidance classes. AKC title work classes. Kirby finished his basic obedience training in 4 weeks. Kristy is very patient and has taught Kirby and I how to work together. Kirby is just 17 weeks old and we cannot wait for his next journey with Kristy. We are going to the stores. He is a hard working pup, thanks to Kristy. I highly recommend Kristy's K9 training.

Kristy is the best! She took the time to understand what we wanted to accomplish and set us on a path for success with our 2 year old Cavapoo, Penny. She has a lot of knowledge and experience that she is willing to share. We were comfortable asking questions and Kristy would demonstrate a skill if that was what we needed. The benefits of individualized training with Kristy are far superior to the group training we attended with a previous pet. We learned the skills we need to continue to work with Penny and would not hesitate to work with Kristy again.
My husband brought our mini bernadoodle to puppy classes and we couldn’t be happier! He felt Kristy really went above and beyond. She is very knowledgeable and gave us some much needed tips and strategies to help raise our puppy to be a pleasant and obedient dog. She also was very flexible with rescheduling when we unfortunately had to miss one class. We highly recommend!

My dog and I just finished our 12th private class with Ms. Kristy - I couldn’t be happier with our work together and we hope to continue with monthly sessions to keep learning! Ms. Kristy is patient and kind, extremely knowledgeable and genuinely invested in our progress and success. We are testing for therapy this weekend and feeling confident! We have participated in other training sessions and classes with other trainers and facilities but we’ve never gotten the individualized training like Ms. Kristy offered - sessions are flexible and always tailored to what we wanted/needed!
