Kramer K9 training

We’ve been going to Kramer K9 Training for about two years now, starting when my dog was just a puppy, and we absolutely love it. The puppy class was fantastic for socialization and laid such a strong foundation for everything that came after. Since then, we’ve taken obedience, novice rally, and now continue in advanced rally, and each class has been consistently positive and well-run. Lou is an excellent trainer and truly cares about both the dogs and their owners. Her approach is thoughtful, encouraging, and tailored to help each dog succeed. I can’t recommend Kramer K9 Training enough, whether you’re starting with a puppy or looking to continue advancing your dog’s skills.

We just finished the 6-week novice obedience class at Kramer K9, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience, especially with our trainer, Lou! She was knowledgeable, direct, and incredibly effective. She shared that a dog once pulled her on her face, and she refuses to let it happen again… or let it happen to us. I appreciated that level of honesty and care. While her style is definitely firm and no nonsense, it’s clear that she truly cares about both the dogs and their owners. Her approach is straightforward and occasionally sassy, which I personally found refreshing and motivating!

My husband and I took our two stubborn, adult corgis to Lou’s class for our first ever dog training experience, and we left with skills that will last a lifetime. The class is quick paced and active. Lou’s training emphasizes control and socialization, but she also is very understanding of meeting dogs where they are. One of our corgis is very vocal, and the other spooks easily. This created separate challenges in different ways throughout the class, but Lou was very attentive to these issues and gave us individual guidance on helping our dogs work through them. She wants to see the team of handler and dog succeed, and I am very appreciative of Lou and thankful for the time we spent in the class.
