We had the pleasure of working with Steph at K9 Pro, and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment we started, Steph was professional, approachable, and clearly an expert in her field. She took the time to share her extensive knowledge in a way that was easy to understand and apply, tailoring her guidance to meet both my dog's needs and my goals as an owner. What stood out most was Steph’s genuine love for dogs and her job—it was obvious in every interaction. Her enthusiasm and calm, confident approach created a supportive learning environment for both me and my dog. Thanks to Steph, we left each session feeling more informed, empowered, and connected. I can't recommend them enough! Steph did an absolutely amazing job helping me with my german shepherd. We were having so much trouble with her behavior in public and reactivity towards other dogs, but now I am able to take her places without her going crazy or trying to slip out of her gear. I was so worried I would never be able to take my girl out in public spaces, but now, thanks to Steph, I can, and I couldn't be more grateful!

Our experience with KProK9 was absolutely incredible. Our fantastic trainer, Steph was with us through our entire training journey. Over the course of a year we were able to have our girl assessed and fully trained to be a service dog for our disabled son. Steph was wonderful throughout the entire process and her knowledge and expertise are unmatched. We will be continuing our journey with KProK9 and Steph as we enjoy our life with our service dog. About Ruby the Service Dog: Ruby was adopted from the shelter (Animal Assistance League of Slidell) where KProK9 and Steph volunteer their time and expertise to help animals in need. Steph taught Ruby how to walk on a leash long before we met her and from there our girl got adopted, passed obedience 1,2, and 3 and then completed and graduated as a fully trained service dog. She cares for our son’s emotional needs, provides pressure therapy, companionship and retrieves items that he drops and returns them to him on his wheelchair. Adding Ruby to our lives has improved our family exponentially and none of that would have been possible without the knowledge and dedication that KProK9 and Steph show to our furry friends. If you need small improvements or big ones I am confident that they are the only company to trust.

I foster dogs, and I really like fostering the ones who may not get chances otherwise. I’ve never had one best me…. Until my most recent one. He was an entire overstimulated and hyperarroused hot mess express. He’d been kept in a kennel for three years, and the experience had basically institutionalized him. He was an extremely sweet boy, but he needed a hand that had enormous experience to pull him together. We called Steph as a Hail Mary- and Steph delivered. She came to get him, assessed the behaviors, and then took him to training for three weeks. She sent pictures and videos, and I was amazed at how much progress my foster boy was making…. But nothing can compare to experiencing who he was when he came back. New dog, who dis? It was incredible. He had gone from wild to (mostly) mild in three weeks time. (He still gets a little too excited and zooms at Mach Jesus, but it’s honestly fine.) He minds well, we can go on walks, and he takes direction so well that I’ve been able to work on introducing him into new environments and with stranger dogs with zero problem. She did in-home training with me so that I knew the communication he’d learned and could continue to reinforce it. She’s very responsive, and incredibly patient. I’d go so far as saying that she’s got an actual gift- not just talent, gift. Call her. She’s worth every single penny. You and your dog will be forever changed for the better because of her work with you.
