Kodiak K9 Training

Thank you Van and Kodiak K9 Training! We handed you a crazy, unhinged 7 month old puppy and after 2 weeks, you returned to us, a beautiful, calm, well behaved pup. He is listening and obeying every command. It was a true pleasure to take him on a walk and not have my arm yanked off or having to fight to control him around other animals. He's listening to everything we say and is a completely different animal....in the best way! We can't thank you enough and rest assured, we will be referring and singing your praises to anyone and everyone looking for a training facility for their fur babies. You ROCK!

O. M. G. WOW!!! Megan is A M A Z I N G and has changed my dogs and my life for the better forever!!! (She is pictured on the day of pickup with my dogs :)) My sweet doodles were previously so difficult on walks, excitable at every neighbor walking by & squirrel out the window, pulling on their leash & jumping. I had thought they were difficult to train — easily distracted, pushing my boundaries after barely grasping a command and I would just give up in frustration. Poor recall, couldn’t be still, etc. Thanks to Megan, they’ve come home as my same sweet and lovable babies but now have the toolkit to lock in and focus on my commands. They walk like a BREEZE — happily heeling beside me, working through their big feelings quickly when they see a distraction. They are happily keeping their down command at dinner time, or when I’m cooking. I’m sure with continuous reinforcement of their amazing training, we will conquer doorbells + window jumping in no time and they’ve already made amazing progress. I am so, so thankful for Megan’s training and guidance and ability to not only get the dogs to a place of happily working and obeying but also getting me to understand how to communicate with them. Would whole heartedly recommend to everyone and will absolutely do it again for future fur babies! :)❤️ soooooooo worth it!!!!

Megan was absolutely amazing with our dog Jackson! Before going to training with Megan, he was an anxious dog who was not able to go out in public properly, we could not go on proper walks, he just would not listen to us and we could not get him to focus on training. After two weeks of in-house training with Megan and her family, he was a completely transformed dog. Throughout the entire two week boarding, Megan would send us daily pictures and videos and updates on Jackson and his progress. At the end of the two weeks, she came to our house and spent a few hours teaching us how to continue his training and everything that he had learned! She was patient with us and wanted to make sure that we felt comfortable and answered all of our questions. Jackson is now less anxious out in public, he is able to go on walks with us without constantly pulling, and his barking is no longer constant. He seems more calm now and its been a wonderful transformation for both him and for us. Cannot thank Kodiak K9 and Megan enough for all that she has done and we highly recommend her to anyone looking to bring the best out of their pup!

This company is amazing. They trained my dog Gunner, a pitbull mix who is about 3.5 years old. Gunner was a huge puller on a leash, didn’t know many commands, and had a very hard time “leaving it” with different distractions. First, putting in an interest form online, I got a response within minutes. Corey was extremely communicative and able to get a phone call and trainer scheduled within a day of reaching out. Gunner was paired with Natalie who did absolute wonders. I have never been able to walk Gunner without my arm being pulled out of the socket. He’s constantly pulling towards distractions. I’m now able to walk with him on a loose leash or in heel without issue. I am amazed at the work she was able to do with him. She was extremely kind and clearly cared about his wellbeing. Her communication with me about his progress was great and she continues to be a resource for me as we navigate returning back home. I cannot recommend this company enough!!
