I cannot recommend Koda’s Canine Academy enough! Jordan is extremely knowledgable on dog behavior and strives to understand the “why” behind your dog’s behavior instead of just addressing the behavior itself with a bandaid solution. Instead she seeks to find the root of the problem and solves the underlying cause. She was instrumental in helping me introduce a new dog to my pack, and solve some crate issues, while helping me understand what my dogs were thinking and feeling through this process. Not only is Jordan great with the dogs, but she was amazing at breaking down her knowledge and explaining it to me in ways I could understand, all of which was done virtually over zoom lesson. Without meeting in person, she was able to guide me through the process of working my dogs in a way that was clear and concise. She genuinely cares about the relationship between dog and handler and works hard to help you meet your goals!

As soon as we decided to get our puppy I knew that I wanted some extra guidance from kodas canine academy. I had seen posts on Facebook and I was very excited about their positive training. I joined their chat forum and started reading all of their informational posts they had. They include things from how to pick out your puppy and everything imaginable on how to train you puppy into adulthood. It gave me my plan on how to start and exactly what I needed to do to help our new family member. Since we got our Aspen we have been using the positive techniques and she is catching on beautifully. I have had questions for the trainers which I posted on the chat forum and I received help right way. I am so very happy with the trainers and the extra guidance. Looking forward to my in person trainings with Billie Lawrence!!!

Beau spent a day with Billie. We wanted him to learn some basic commands and manners. It was amazing how much he had learned in one day, the bond with Billie made in only a day’s time, and the respect he showed her! She went through everything they had worked on and showed us what he had learned. She gave us 2 pages worth of instructions to continue his training and insisted that we understood that we could call with any concerns or questions! He is doing so well! We are enjoying him more and I’m looking forward to summer when I will have more time to spend to really fine tune those skills. Thank you, Billie!
