We can't say enough good things about Kate from Koda's Canine Academy! We recently adopted a rescue puppy and were overwhelmed by his reactive and unruly behavior. We knew Rocket Boy had potential, but lacked the tools to train him. She came to the rescue with her calm, yet assertive presence and helped teach us techniques to work with our boy. Thanks to Kate, Rocket Boy has become part of our family and is adapting well to his new home.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Life-Changing Training Experience I cannot recommend Koda’s Canine Academy enough! When we first came in, my dog struggled with severe anxiety and aggression toward strangers. Walks were stressful, guests at the house were out of the question, and I honestly felt like I was running out of options. From day one, Kate treated us with compassion, patience, and incredible expertise. She didn’t just train my dog — she taught me how to understand her behavior and respond in a way that built trust and confidence. Every session was tailored to her needs, with a perfect balance of structure, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. The results have been nothing short of incredible. My dog is calmer, more relaxed, and no longer reacts aggressively when meeting new people. We can now enjoy walks without fear, and even welcome friends into our home without stress. Kate at Koda’s Canine Academy didn’t just improve my dog’s behavior — she gave us both a better quality of life. If your dog struggles with anxiety or reactivity, Kate is a trainer who can truly make a difference.

Highly recommend Koda’s canine academy! Trainer Kate helped my puppy, Nova, and I so much. Nova had problems with guarding me, reactivity, and self regulation issues. After a few sessions with Kate, Nova is so much better with everything! She has more trust in me, and I in her. I’m so grateful for the help Kate was able to provide us with.

Billie was so sweet and very informative the entire hour she worked with Bear and I! I was given LOTS of tips and tricks on how to work with and better understand my pup as it’s my first time training myself. 11/10 recommend ! well worth the money and time 🤍.
