Koda K-9 Academy

I sent my 15 week 5 lb Toy Poodle for 2 weeks of board and train and I don't regret it one bit! I really struggled with crate training her the first six weeks that we had her. Faith and Madison helped tremendously with crate training and they helped me learn how to work better with my dog! My girl, Livvy came home a more disciplined pup and she now sleeps through the night in her crate (she also goes into her crate on command)!! I highly recommend Koda K-9 Academy to help you with your training needs. I was sent videos of training and texts of how she was doing while she was with them. I felt very comfortable leaving my girl with her trainers.

We have a large puppy 70 lbs at 5.5 months. Our experience was great. The young couple who own and run the business are very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. They trained me too on how to use his training. His behavior and obedience are dramatically better. He sits, comes, lays down, heels and walks, and will go to his raised bed, lays down and stays until released. He has been socialized to other dogs. We signed up for 3 week course. They gave us a random raised bed and 20 foot leash with the 3 week program. They train with positive reinforcement. They used prong collar and electric collar humanely. I'm now going to sign up my college daughter with some her dog for in person training sessions.

We had an amazing experience working with Connor at Koda K-9 Academy! The sessions were packed with vital information that worked wonders for my pup, Bravo. Connor was phenomenal at personalizing our sessions to meet Bravo’s training needs. His expertise was invaluable. The information and experiences taken away from the basic obedience course have given me so much more confidence with my pup. Bravo has improved leaps and bounds in just a few short weeks. We will definitely be returning for some advanced classes!

Connor really saved our bacon. We took in a "male aggressive" white german shepard pup. She was a complete terror from the getgo, like I knew in my soul shed end up in a shelter or euthanized if we gave up on her. Luckily for us, we found Koda K9. We quickly realized she isn't a mean dog. She had no confidence and was scared of her own shadow. But with time and effort, she's turning into a delightful dog that I enjoy spending time with. Highly recommend. I have a companion now, instead of an angry boss. Can't thank them enough. Would love to have a copy of her graduation picture though. She was so cute in that little cap. 😍

Connor and his team did an excellent job training my dog Max. Max had started exhibiting several bad traits. He was obsessed with going after cars in our neighborhood while on leash, when he didn’t want to go home while walking on lease he would stop and would not move, then would growl at me while I pulled on the leash. He started getting very aggressive when he couldn’t get to a few yappy dogs in the neighborhood while we were walking. When he couldn’t get to them him he would come back on me and bite me. After the third time I knew I had to do something but also knew I couldn’t give him away or even take him to a shelter with these issues. I considered having the vet put him down. My daughter mentioned training and that’s how and why I came to K9 Koda. After a 3 week training program Max is a new dog. He’s such a good and happy dog now. The issues I mentioned above are gone now and he showed me how to continue using this training once we got home. I can’t tell you enough how good Connor and his team were. I received pictures every 2 days and was able to visit after one week to see what he had learned. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a dog.
