Koda K-9 Academy

I first came to Koda K-9 with little hope on the outcome it would have on my dog. I have a pittbull/mix named Tucker. He was a rescue who was aggressive to strangers, no training capability, ate everything in the house, and always escaped out of our fenced in yard. I had Tucker for a year before I decided it was best to give this training thing a shot. It was honestly my last option because I couldn’t keep a dog that I couldn’t trust. Connor was a great trainer and taught me so many knowledgeable things about how I could approach a training idea differently. Connor said that Tucker lacked confidence, and he was completely right. This is why he acted the way he did because he was fearful of everything. Toward the end of our training I was comfortable having strangers in the house, I could walk him around in public without fear, and I have a well-trained confident dog. Now, I’m not saying that Tucker is considered a “friendly” dog, and I wouldn’t let a stranger approach Tucker, but I don’t need a friendly dog I just need one that I can trust, and now I have that thanks to Koda K-9. If you are debating whether this is worth it, I promise that it is. I’m so grateful to have my best friend, and I know he is grateful in return for the self-assurance that Connor helped him achieve.

I cannot recommend Koda K-9 enough. Connor is extremely knowledgeable about dog behaviors and Maddison is so helpful throughout the process of helping our pup, Wren. We chose the 2 week board and train program after Connor got to know Wren. Wren has issues with social anxiety and lack of confidence that manifested in barking at strangers and leash pulling. Connor’s training has helped her and us. Our family now has the skills and understanding to continue her confidence growth at home. We are able to take her in public places without worrying about her reactions to strangers because we now have the skills to redirect. We couldn’t ask for a better dog and we are so thankful for all of the staff at Koda K-9.

I have a year old German Shepard. I got her at 4 months old from a home that was allergic to her. She was not trained at all. Not even house broken. She was never socialized. She was too strong and fearful for me to try to socialize myself. She would jump up and was constantly tearing my skin with her nails. She did what she wanted. I called a few trainers and chose Koda K-9 Academy. They are amazing. Two weeks with them and she's a new dog. Totally obedient. She actually listens now. She's seems happier than before.. They spent a couple of hours training me when I picked her up. And they answer my questions when I need help. They are having me come back next month to show them how I'm doing . I couldn't be happier. I strongly recommend them.
