Koda K-9 Academy

We just got Camp back today from Koda K9 and we are SO impressed with how much he has improved! We were honestly a little nervous about sending him away for training, but seeing everything he can do now has made it completely worth it. He’s so much better on a leash, he’s doing so much better around other dogs, and he can now place and hold it OFF leash! His recall has improved so much too — he will actually recall off leash now, which is something we never felt comfortable trusting him with before. He’s also doing so much better in his crate. It’s only been a day since we got him home and we can already see such a huge difference. He seems happier, more confident, and so much easier to manage. We’re really excited to keep working with him and continue everything he learned. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Camp and putting so much time and effort into him. We’re so happy with the results and would absolutely recommend them!

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Koda K9! We came to them needing help with a tough situation where we were introducing a reactive rescue to our household and current dogs. From the first session, it was clear they knew exactly how to break down complicated concepts into manageable steps and gave us the background information needed for us to understand the reasoning behind each step. One thing we really appreciated was how personalized everything was. They took time to figure out what made each of our dogs tick, what their individual triggers and motivations were, and built a plan around that, then adapted it as we progressed through our sessions. Beyond the hands-on techniques with the dogs, they spent so much time and energy coaching us on hew to read our dogs better, hold boundaries calmly, and build the trust necessary for training to stick. They were endlessly patient and encouraging with us and that support made a real difference in how confident we felt applying what we learned. The results speak for themselves: our household feels calmer, our dogs are noticeably more relaxed in situations that used to be stressful, and we feel far more equipped to handle whatever comes up. My parents also completed a board and train program with Koda K9 for their own two dogs, and they've had just as much success. Top-notch training and an incredible experience from Koda K9! We needed help integrating a new, reactive dog into our home with our other two dogs along with some general obedience training. They did an outstanding job helping us work through those challenges and giving us the tools to better understand and communicate with our dogs. What really stood out to us was that the training wasn’t just about teaching the dogs commands, it was just as much about teaching us how to respond to their behavior, set appropriate boundaries, and interact with them in a way that builds trust and confidence. That knowledge has been critical in helping us continue the progress at home. We’ve seen a noticeable difference in our dogs and our own confidence in handling different situations. I highly recommend this group and especially Faith for your trainer . What I appreciated the most working with everyone from Kodak K9 was their attention to detail, willingness to educate and explain, and being patient/supportive. Faith was beyond excellent with her work for our 6mo old border collie: Mei Mei. She was able to learn loose leash, sit, stay, leave it, outs, engagement, obedience, manners, and so much more. The best thing we learned is to enjoy our time with her in all stages of her learning and building her confidence is key! Thank you again Faith and everyone at Kodak k9!!

My puppy and I worked with Faith, and she was awesome! She was very patient with us. She clearly explained the how and why of everything we were doing and thoroughly answered all of my questions. If I had questions between sessions, I could text/call and most of the time she answered that same day. I felt fully supported throughout the whole process. The training itself is very balanced and I am confident that we have all the tools and knowledge we need to keep building our skills. My dog is well on her way to becoming the canine companion of my dreams!
