Deciding to get training classes for our 1.5 yr old pup Marley was the best decision we could have made. She was your typical *good girl* but the training has taken her to a whole other level! The peace you feel with your pup when you can communicate together is amazing. Walking on a leash with her before felt like I was always playing tug of war. Now walks are stress-free and really enjoyable for the both of us. Tommy is a great trainer, and person.

This is one of the best trainers around, not only is your dog learning, you’re learning too! He teaches your dog the command and that there is consequences if they choose not to listen. He also teaches you (the handler/owner) how to hold that dog accountable if they do choose not to listen to you. He is extremely helpful and gives very good tips when it comes to helping you handle your dog, not judgemental at all. My dog is so much better at listening now. We did the 8 week program for on and off leash. My pup is doing great. Throughout the training I watched my dog grow so much, not only training wise, but confidence wise as well. If you’re looking for a dog trainer, look no further you’ve found one of the best in the area right here!

I can’t say enough great things about Tommy and Knoxville K9 Academy. He came recommended to me and I understand why. My sweet Dallas is such a great pup but was constantly jumping on people and pulling his leash (and Me!) anytime I would try to take him anywhere. I chose the 8 week program that is offered and am so so happy with the results! We can take Dallas anywhere we go now and know that he’s going to listen and behave. No more jumping, no more pulling. He will also come to me when I call for him no matter what he’s doing or what is around to distract him. If you are on the fence about Knoxville K9 Academy, take the leap. It’s SO worth it!
