We can't say enough good things about Nick and the work he's done with our dog. We got him as a puppy from Nick and it was clear from day one that he came from excellent lines, having sound temperament, drive, and a natural intelligence that has made training such a joy. Daily, our dog has improved and remained sharp, curious, and motivated to WORK and LEARN. We are partial because our dog is our baby, but truly there are so many important things when it comes to his genetics that shine through with these dogs as they grow up. He's confident, sharp, and driven when he needs to be, but completely calm and trustworthy around our kids and others when it’s time to switch that off and rest. We trust Nick's judgment completely and are so grateful for everything he's taught both us and our dog. Highly recommend him to anyone serious about working dogs.

My experience with Klaus K-9 has been amazing. I brought my 8 month old German Shepard, Hank, to Nick due to his disobedience and boundary issues. Within the first private session, Hanks obedience increased significantly and has only gotten better since then. Hank is a completely different dog and we are able to bring him out in public with no issues. I could not recommend Klaus K-9 more. Nick is amazing with Hank and has not only taught him, but has also taught my husband and I so much. Not only is Hank a better dog, but we feel like better dog owners because of our well behaved pup! Nick has been working with my service dog. She recently completed the first phase (basic obedience). This weekend we had our first real world test that required me to travel out of town. Everywhere we went from the hotel, to restaurants, and boring meetings, she knocked it out of the park. We got complimented on her excellent behavior everywhere we went. Several people commented on how calm and controlled she was, including one who commented she was the calmest GSP he's every seen. We recommend Klaus K9 Training to everyone.

Veteran-owned business! Worth every penny! My wife and I adopted an adorable pit bull mix out of a high kill shelter in Georgia - the dog was amazing for the first few weeks until she developed a habit of stealing our food off the counter and getting into the trash can when we were gone - and even when we were home! We tried several different methods like the jar of pennies, spanking, and treats only but Lulu only got worse with stealing food! We tried a force free trainer but they quit after two sessions 😣. Nick was convenient and he recommended we board and train the dog for 6 weeks. This includes 2 private lessons which helped us learn to handle our Lulu at home too. My wife is not very big and she struggled with Lulu's leash sometimes and Nick's training helped us to get better with Lulu. Now she doesn't counter surf and try to grab food out of our plates anymore! Really great business, and worth every penny!
