We also offer overnight boarding at our kennel. Each dog stays in its own kennel stall, and each stall has a raised bed and water available 24 hours a day. While boarding on-site, your dog will be put out to air and play with other dogs 4 times daily. Contact us to reserve your spot.

How are dogs housed at your kennel? Do they share spaces with other dogs?
Dogs are housed individually in their own comfortable kennels to ensure their privacy and safety. Each kennel has a raised bed and water available 24 hours a day. We do not house dogs from different families together in the same kennel.

There aren’t enough positive words you could use to describe Tim as a person, a dog trainer, and his operation at Kingseed Kennels. For me, it started with a cold call to Tim about my black lab Briley. Immediately I felt he was a true professional and somebody that I could trust. Enrolling Briley in the gun dog program is the best decision I could have made for her. Briley is my first dog with advanced training and with that came many struggles as a handler. However, not only did Tim train my dog he trained me to handle her. Always open to letting me watch training sessions, answering any questions I had even long after I’d taken Briley home.
The most satisfying part of the hunt now is watching Briley work and I owe that to Tim and Kingseed Kennels. I’m grateful to now call Tim a friend and without a doubt recommend his services to anyone.

I used Kingseed Kennels for my last dog Jewel. She became the best dog my husband and I ever hunted with from Tim’s training. Tim knows dogs and teaches them to handle well. Then he works with you so you understand your dog. I would use Tim again for my next dog.

Tim and Patti with Kingseed Kennels are as good as it gets. They breed retrievers that consistently sit at the pinnacle of what a working dog should be. I purchased a pup from Tim in 2020 and briefly shadowed him while he trained my young dog in basic retriever school. Tim provided me with the base knowledge and skills to further my own learning, and my confidence in myself to continue my dogs training. My dog has now surpassed 1000 retrieves going into his 4th season hunting every style of habitat that Michigan has to offer. In addition to that the training from Tim at Kingseed made my dog just as great of a pet in my home as he is in the field as his obedience foundation is so meticulously engrained that I received compliments often on the conduct of my Labrador.
Bottom line, whether you’re looking for a new companion at home, or a champion waterfowl retriever, you can’t compete with a Kingseed dog.
