I have been working with Kahlil at Kingdom K9 for four months and we have been successful with training my family’s 15 month old XL Bully, Tank. We have continued to train on impulse control, socialization with all size dogs and manners with people. We enjoy going to the group class as this highlights his growth of desensitization with other dogs around him. Kahlil is highly educated with all breeds and continues to enlighten dog parents how to understand their dogs behavior and thought processes. Kahlil and his team are amazing! We got a giant schnauzer puppy earlier this year and was really lucky to randomly find Kingdom K9 while searching on google for a place to board our dog while we went out of town. I found another place in the area, but they were not being very responsive, so I decided to give Kahlil a call. He told me over the phone that they are not a regular boarding facility like other places, and only boarded dogs that they trained (which I totally understood). He wanted to meet our puppy to see what they could offer in terms of training/boarding and squeezed us in that same day for a consultation! At the consultation, I noticed a few very important details: 1) how clean the facility was, 2) how quiet it was with all the dogs he was training/boarding in the back, and 3) how much he genuinely loves dogs. Just from his interactions with our puppy during the consultation, I could tell this was the place for him. We decided to go with their multi-week boarding and training program. Each week that we visited we could see the progress he was making and when we picked him up he had stopped many of his bad behaviors including play nipping. That was a big one for us since we have three young kids. Before the training, we had to keep him mostly in his crate, but afterwards, he is now a well behaved dog that we can let outside of his crate. Kahlil really treats our puppy like it's his own dog and ensures that he is well taken care of. We highly recommend Kahlil and his amazing team for any dog training and boarding needs.

We truly can’t believe this is our dog, we are so grateful. We adopted Chunk when he was a tiny 8 week old 8 pound puppy. Over the next 4.5 years he grew into an 89 pound impulsive Labrador, who loved intensely. Chunk has 2 older human brothers (9 and 5) and what finally made me seek out training was the boys sadness of not being able to take their own down on a walk (after an attempt that didn’t go well). My heart hurt and I realized we needed to do something. I was worried we let it go on for too long. I wanted to someone local who would take the time to understand. Kingdom K9 offered a consultation to assess and within minutes I saw firsthand Kahlil instantly connect and Chunk respond in a way I had never dreamed. Kahlil actively listened and provided a couple different options for training. For us, we needed to commit to the board and train. We missed him immensely, and treasured our weekly onsite trainings. Chunk was putting in the work, and so were we. When he came home, life was different. We hadn’t realized all the bad habits we had just accepted. We continue to work to provide the consistency, and Kahlil has become part of our pack. Chunk’s human brothers look forward to our training follow-ups and they quote “Coach Kahlil” all the time. Update to compliment my original review back in January, since we are approaching almost the 1 year anniversary of Loki's first time meeting Kahlil and completing the 3 week board & train program last September. Loki's (22 month old Belgian Malinois) obedience has continued to improve (the training never stops!) since my last review, and he has progressed into being able to walk around farmer's market, shopping malls, and even grocery stores where he is allowed. I did not think this day would come, but here we are. He remains neutral around other dogs of any breed, and still loves it at the Kingdom! He's not perfect, and we still have plenty of work to do, but we are very satisfied with Loki's current temperament. It is a night & day difference since we moved here last September. Kahlil and his staff's services are definitely worth the investment, and your life and relationship with your furry friend are worth it.
