OUR MISSION: Serving the Tennessee Valley by providing Animal Assisted Therapy with registered teams of handlers and animals. Our volunteers work in healthcare, education, military facilities, and in other areas of need.
KIND HEARTS DOG TRAINING CENTER: At Kind Hearts our experienced trainers help you and your dog acheive your goals through a variety of small group classes. Learn how to lead your companion animal to become a well-mannered, confident family member. Kind Hearts is Huntsville's only nonprofit dog training center. Our classes help fund the work of Therapy Partners.

I have 2 York's boy n girl also 1 dashound 1 pit bull all stay in house. How do I stop them from barking n charging the door when guest come over? They are driving us crazy !
Teach them to go to their bed or other special place, and stay when you ask them to. Kind Hearts has great classes where you would learn how to do this.

The upcoming session for classes are filled but after that classes will start in June. Classes are great to help with such issues, and you can learn with one dog and take those skills to each of the others as well!

We attended a Rowdies class and thank the heavens we got there early because it was a disaster. The instructor, Don, was unprofessional by threatening to kick us out for “not listening”. We never heard any instructions that were given and we most certainly didn’t appreciate getting cussed at by the instructor. Our dog is not perfect which is why she was signed up for that specific class. The whole experience was subpar to the image Don painted in our heads on week one with no dogs. You get what you pay for which isn’t much. We will never be back.

Pup was kicked out of puppy kindergarten after the first class because of barking, which I would have assumed was a basic behavior that would be worked on in the class. Was originally told to try and work on the barking at home before the next class, but then got called right after saying we weren’t welcome back. I’m glad they didn’t waste my time any further, but this was a very frustrating experience.
