Kim's K9 Training

Kim is the REAL DEAL! We rescued Holly from a traumatic situation when she was about 9 months old. Holly is such a lover, but was SO reactive and anxious.. until we started to attend Kim’s group classes! I didn’t think it would be possible for her to make the progress she has made. So much more than just commands.. her behavior is social settings and recall have improved so much, and at a WAY faster pace than we expected. We trust Kim to board our girl when we leave the state. We get photos, videos, and updates the whole time. The amount of stress that takes off of my wife and I is priceless! Kim even accepted our request to walk Holly down the aisle at our wedding this summer so we could have her bare the rings.. it was unforgettable. And they did perfect! I only wish I could give Kim more than 5 stars.

Kim was an incredible trainer for my dog, Honey who struggled a lot with leash reactivity and some unwanted behaviors. We did individual sessions and group training and Kim’s help we are now able to walk the boardwalk without any fear of reaction and even have offleash play time that I never would have been confident enough to do before this training. I would highly recommend Kim to anyone wanting to train their dog and help their dog live their life to the fullest!

I’m so grateful for Kim. She’s given me the confidence to walk my dogs on the sidewalk again. I first reached out to Kim after my reactive dog ran out of our house and bit our neighbor’s dog. Nala would nip, bark, and pull toward joggers, bikes, kids, other dogs… honestly everything. Crossing the street multiple times just to walk her became our normal, and living in a high-traffic area made daily life extremely stressful. I was nervous about paying for training because, to be 100% honest, I struggle with consistency. What I appreciated most about Kim’s training was that she explained the “why” behind every tool and technique, which helped me truly understand Nala and how to help her. Today, I’m not perfect with every training tool she’s taught us, but the core lessons have completely changed our lives. I think about Kim every time Nala “chooses me” instead of reacting or pulling toward something else. There isn’t anywhere Nala can’t go now and be safe. It turns out my reactive dog actually thrives with structure and wants to follow commands. She needed to feel safe and secure and Kim taught me how to that. 🥹 I’ve also always been impressed with Kim’s follow-through. When she recommends specific items, she sends exact links, everything is affordable, and she makes the process simple. Kim, I’ve improved my playtime and tug-of-war strategies, and I’m making sure I let Nala win ❤️

My experience with Kim's training class changed my relationship with my dog long-term. I have a shepherd dog and I had NO idea how to properly play/walk/train with her. Kim's knowledge of different dog breeds and ability to give group direction as well as specific, personalized training makes it very easy to learn. Kim cares and it shows in the time and effort she puts in to creating a strict but rewarding relationship between dog and owner. Couldn't recommend more!

Kimberly trained and taught us how to work with our Golden Retriever. She has been amazing and our dog is doing so well! We called and spoke with several trainers and when we spoke to her she was exactly what we were looking for to help us with our 6 month old puppy. She came highly recommended by staff in our veterinarian’s office. She has a very flexible schedule making it easy to work with her and she has very reasonable pricing and options. We’ve also boarded him with her and he loves her and always comes back more confident and better behaved. You cannot go wrong with Kimberly!!
