Kim's K9 Training

We contacted Kim for advice on training our 1.5 year old, very large pitty. He has always been sweet but had a handful of maladaptive traits. What started as one training session had us convinced that she would be fantastic for board & train. Kim does a phenomenal job. Daily updates (multiple times per day) of photos and videos. The dogs receive so much varied exposure to so many different situations, people, and pets. Their home is very well set up for board & train, it is a very safe environment for your pup. Our pup came back with the same zest for life, was clearly well taken care of, and has phenomenal behavioral improvements. Being away from your baby for a whole month is so tough, but the daily updates made it easier. He came back confident, and so well behaved. She has a whole list of items he received training on, and you DO have to do continual work, but it’s so much fun to constantly engage with our pup in a way we didn’t know how to previously. Would highly recommend Kim for boarding and training sessions to absolutely anyone. She is so good at what she does, and clearly has a passion for puppies!

My experience with Kim has been nothing short of wonderful! She has brought out the best in my relationship with my dog. 6 months ago I had a reactive, anxious 7 year old doxie. Today she is so relaxed- predictable and happy! We have been able to welcome a new puppy and ensure both our pups feel safe and happy. We went from reactive barking, resource guarding, whining in the crate, not being left alone during meals- to a quiet peaceful home! I really couldn't believe how quickly my dogs behavior changed by being consistent with kims training. So worth every penny, my only regret was not starting sooner.

Kim is essentially a dog whisperer and changed our reactive GSD completely. My pup would become territorial, stop listening to commands, bite myself and her dad for putting her in the crate and now she’s the sweetest baby who puts herself in the crate and loves trick training and bite work! She’s e-collar trained and Kim is the reason we can understand and communicate with our fur baby now. I trust my pup and she trusts me too now! If you’re not going to Kim, it’s your loss!

Kim has been an absolute game changer for our dog and our family! We went through four trainers and finally decided to do a board and train as nothing else was helping. She listened to our concerns and went above and beyond to address them prior and during the boarding process. Our dog was clearly well cared for and loved the four weeks he was with her, which made the whole process so much easier. We went from a dog with high reactivity to other dogs, people (especially men), e-bikes, etc. to a dog that can better handle most situations. She has set us up for success and teaches us in a way that is easy to learn and follow through with. We can’t recommend her enough and I would say our dog feels the same way!
