FirstBarkGreat people who you can tell love what they do. We just finished the first 2 weeks of puppy boot camp and Beck was awesome and patient with us. Our Ellie goes to daycare there a couple of times a week and is very excited when we arrive. I highly recommend Kim's K9!

With more than 30 years of business in West Michigan, Kim's K-9 is a fun and friendly center for dog boarding, training and doggie daycare. Founders Kim, expert trainer, and husband Brian Steffes opened the current Center in Kentwood, Michigan in March 1996. Lifelong residents of the Grand Rapids area and avid dog lovers, Kim and Brian have created lasting relationships with clients and their wonderful pets. Kim and Brian sold the business to their long-standing employee and friend, Martha Wiltse, in 2021. She carries on their values! The facility offers a safe and clean environment with multiple indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as flexible hours and a convenient location, just off of Broadmoor Ave. SE, near 28th St.

We send our dog to Kim’s for a day of play every week. We have done this for 5 years. We also board her with Kim’s every time we head our of town.

It was such an amazing way for him to learn and be exposed to new things at a young age. It felt great from the start knowing they make each dog’s health and safety a priority. He has now graduated into their daycare and we can tell he loves it. All of the staff has been so kind & helpful with amazing communication. I fully trust them! Special shoutout to Alanna for loving our pup Rocky from the start! We know he has built so many lifelong skills and mannerisms and she was a HUGE part in that! 💙🐾
