Kiba is a top level dog trainer, he has both the talent and the knowledge of the art of the modern dog training. He trains the dog and the owner together which is super important in order to get meaningful and lasting results whatever your training goals might be. I feel so lucky that I have discovered him by pure chance. I drove all the way to Brooklyn from Upstate NY for the private sessions and all I can say - it was time well spent and it was totally worth it. Most importantly - Kiba showed me what's possible and how to achieve it, I am very grateful that I had this opportunity. I wish more dogs could have such great trainers.

Did a 1-month board and train for my two terrier mixes. They are a bonded pair I adopted during the pandemic and my first dogs ever so I was new to dog life. My one dog Courage is very dog aggressive, and his pal Domino followed his lead. I had issues with them barking at apartment noises and other dogs as well. 3 years in the straw that broke the camel's back was when they suddenly started fighting with one another. I decided to invest in boarding with Kiba since I knew I didn't have the time or skills to address their issues. After their time with Kiba, friends have remarked how much quieter and calmer they seem. They have stopped fighting, walk much better on a leash and respond to commands. I also realized how much I needed to learn about handling them and establishing authority, and Kiba is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about explaining the different ways to communicate with your dog. Courage, Domino and I are still a work in progress but there is much more harmony at home and he has shown me that even old dogs can learn new tricks. Thank you Kiba!

Shortly after adopting my 8-month-old Belgian Malinois, I quickly realized Hazel was more than I could handle. I began looking for a dog trainer with experience and success working with the Belgian Malinois breeds. Kiba came highly recommended, and he lived up to his reputation. We met within a week to discuss my concerns and goals, which included obedience training, off-leash recall, and exercises to fulfill Hazel mentally and physically. Creating a solid routine for her as a registered nurse who works 12 hrs shifts was crucial. Kiba was attentive and showed empathy for my needs and concerns. His direct and uncomplicated training method helped me realize I could provide Hazel with a happy and satisfying life. He opened his schedule and immediately added Hazel to his training program. Hazel completed a six-week board-and-train program, including private training sessions to prepare her and me for when she returned home. These private training sessions have significantly impacted my learning and helped to strengthen my bond with Hazel. Hazel's training involved Kiba and Tiffany. I must thank Tiffany, who contributed to Hazel's remarkable transformation and updated me on her progress. Hazel is an entirely different dog now. Kiba has taught Hazel and me so much, but most importantly, he has taught us how to have fun. I highly recommend Kiba and his team, Kiba K9, for all your dog training needs. Kiba has helped me achieve what seemed impossible. Although the journey was not easy, we trained, learned, and improved every day, but most importantly, we had fun. I wouldn't change a thing. This 10 star review is long overdue for Kiba and his team (shoutout to Yves!)! Kiba is the best in the business and worth every penny. Kiba came highly recommended from our dog’s breeder. We had a terrible experience with another trainer who mishandled him while using an e-collar. Aside from that we had the usual obedience issues such as counter surfing, leash pulling and leash reactivity. Due to the number of issues, we invested in a 1 month board and train. We immediately felt comfortable with Kiba because he understood our struggle and most of all, our dog. We really liked Kiba’s approach to training. He molds and shapes your dog to give him consistency in the language and then teaches you how to communicate in that new language with your dog. By the time we got our dog Elton back, we were completely blown away. He was almost a different dog in his behavior, obedience and listening skills. He was off leash, recalled like a pro, no longer scared of his ecollar and actually responding well to it. More importantly, his leash reactivity could be controlled through communication. Our dog really blossomed through his time with Kiba, which in turn has deepened our relationship with our dog. Kiba also does a great job explaining everything and helping you understand your dog better. The best part is because he has the opportunity to know your dog on a very individualized level, if you ever have a question, Kiba is always willing and able to help with very specific recommendations. To this day, we still continue reinforcing the games and lessons Kiba has taught our dog. It’s important we keep doing our homework to help our dogs be their best. We are forever grateful to him for all the love and energy he’s poured into our dog and are so lucky to consider him not just a trainer but a friend. He still checks up on Elton from time to time despite a very busy schedule. What business do you know that has that kind of customer service?! It’s because you’re not a customer with Kiba and his team, you become part of his pack. Thank you for the amazing work you do! Do yourself a favor, just save your money and forget about all the other trainers, Kiba’s K9 crew are the crème de la crème. Your only regret will be why you didn’t do this sooner.
