Keystone Canine Club

I have a shy puppy and was worried that this being a more "advanced" facility would bring some exasperation and judgement and it did NOT. We took the Family Manners I class and my puppy was encouraged to go at her own speed, participate as well as she could while she was anxious and at the same time, learn and have fun. She was the youngest in the class but there were all levels of behavior and skill in the participants. We learned a lot together and I appreciated the patience and willingness to work with her temperament. Her favorite part was the very last class where she got to try out the agility equipment and despite being a little scared, she overcame her nervousness and felt like the star of the show with all of the encouragement and celebration after going in the tunnel! I hope to bring her back and try some of the fun classes offered now that I know it is about fun and confidence building and not just competition.

My husband and I took our puppy for their Building Puppy Confidence class and Karina and her assistants were so patient but firm with my very stubborn pup. She really responded well to the commands she learned while she was there! We also signed her up for Family Manners I, and Rosanne and Bonnie were fantastic as well. I would recommend their training classes to anyone, and had my sweet stubborn girl not passed away partway through her Family Manners course, we definitely would've returned for Family Manners II! I do want to thank Rosanne for reaching out after Phoebe's passing. It really did mean a lot to my husband and me.
