Sam worked WONDERS with my dog, Millie! She was a stray, we didn’t know her history, but we did know she loved squirrels and loved running away after them. Millie got away from me twice because of her very intense prey drive. I sent Millie to Sam’s board and train for 3 weeks. I was super afraid of Millie losing her personality, but if anything her personality got so much larger. I can now let Millie roam off leash and her recall overpowers her prey drive. Multiple times she’s started to go after animals and she will stop on her tracks and come back to me once called. She is is much happier being a dog no longer tied to a leash constantly. It has been almost 3 years since her board and her recall is just as good as it was when Millie came home. I cannot thank Sam enough for all of her work and letting myself and millie be confidently trained off leash!

Samantha is a fantastic trainer! I could tell, from the beginning, that she is well versed in dog behavior, takes her job seriously and really cares about dogs. I tried to do some training with my dog but she have behavior issues that made it really difficult. When she came home from being board and trained, and with the follow up lessons provided, she and I had a new set of skills to communicate with each other efficiently and she was much easier to handle, yet still her goofy self. I would recommend using KY Dog Training to anyone who needs help with teaching their dog the skills to give them the freedom to do things with their owner outside and inside the house.
