Kentuckiana K-9

Me and husband recently adopted a Belgium Malionois from the Kentucky humane society. My husband is a veteran and knew of this breed from working with them over seas. We knew it would be work and thought we would be up for the task. Little did we know just how hard it would be. After about 5 months of having her she became harder to manage and care for. We tried everything we where at the point of returning her to the Humane society. But we just couldn't give up on her. We had recently took her to another trainer who mistreated her we didn't know who to trust. Then we found Bob from day one we knew he was different. He really wanted to help us and our dog. We left her with him for a month and it was hard but the best decision. We have seen such a change in her for the best. We are so grateful for Bob and everything that he has done for our dog. When we picked her up to take her home she watched Bob walk away from us and didn't turn around till he was gone. I Know they had a bond. We are just so appreciative for everything he has done for her.

Best decision we’ve made for our pup! Took the time to discuss exactly what we needed and personalize our dogs training. We are able to continue the excellent training Bob started at home using the techniques that were sent home in the form of a video at the end of the month of training. Our Big ol’ German Shepard is attentive, careful around the kids, and knows his place in the family. He is a happier dog now that he knows what is expected and we can easily communicate to him what he is not to do. Very happy with the training. We will use Kentuckiana K-9 again for our needs and it’s an easy recommendation to friends.

Bob trained our 10 month old german shepherd Zeus and did a phenomenal job. He is professional and down to earth with years of experience. It’s obvious that he cares about the dogs he trains and they are happy and obedient with him. The grounds at Kentuckiana K-9 seem very secure and are very clean. We chose an 8 week obedience training course for Zeus, on and off leash training. Before training, our home was turned upside down and chaotic with a 65 pound puppy that did not listen. Now, we have a happy obedient puppy we not only love, but we get to enjoy him too. Zeus no longer jumps on furniture or kitchen counters, he does not pull when we walk him, he comes when called, and he obeys commands. Even after training, Bob has been available to answer any questions that I have and he’s always responded to my phone calls and emails in a very timely manner. If I could give Kentuckiana K-9 more than 5 stars, I would. It has changed our lives for the better.

My fiance' and I took our (almost) 2 year old pitsky, Tula, one day a week for four weeks to Bob for basic obedience training recently. The system he uses works almost immediately. Our dog is very anxious and excitable. We could never walk her becase she pulls so hard and wants to run all over the place. That was fixed almost immediately after 1-2 visits. While she is still very young and wild, shes almost like a different dog now. She stays by our side, doesnt pull or run, walks at our pace, and sits, lays, and stays now on command. Bob is also an extremely nice guy with a long history of experience training dogs and always a pleasure to chat with. We highly recommend taking your dogs there for training.
