Cannot give a better review. If you’re on the fence about hiring a dog trainer, Lihod is absolutely worth it. Babka is our female dachshund puppy, and if you’ve ever owned a dachshund, you already know the challenge: they are stubborn, opinionated, endlessly clever, and utterly convinced that they are the ones in charge. Babka came into our lives as a tiny, sausage-shaped tornado, impossibly cute but equally impossible to redirect. She had her own agenda, and no amount of “sit!” from us was going to change that. Enter Lihod. From the very first session, it was clear that Lihod genuinely loves dogs and, more importantly, understands them. Rather than applying a generic, one-size-fits-all approach, Lihod immediately recognized the unique personality quirks that come with the dachshund breed and tailored every technique specifically for Babka. That alone set Lihod apart from anything we’d tried before. We worked on basic commands, sit, down, come, areas where Babka had been… let’s say selectively responsive. Lihod broke everything down into clear, patient, achievable steps, and the results genuinely exceeded all of our expectations. Babka went from ignoring us entirely to reliably responding to commands, and the consistency has held up beautifully even outside of training sessions. What really stood out was Lihod’s communication with us as owners. We were never left guessing. After every session, we understood exactly what to reinforce at home, why certain methods work better for a dog like Babka, and how to read her body language more effectively. We felt like we were being trained right alongside her, in the best possible way. The patience Lihod showed with Babka (and honestly, with us) was remarkable. Dachshunds are not the easiest students, and Babka tested her fair share of limits, but Lihod never wavered, never got frustrated, and always found a way to turn even Babka’s most dramatic moments into a learning opportunity.
