Kaye-Nine Training School

I agreed to foster a rescue, Ollie, not knowing what I was getting into. Here was a young dog that clearly was loving and had boundless energy, but had reverted to his worst self. Although we don’t know Ollie’s troubled history, he was quickly overly attached to me. He was aggressively guarding me, attacking other dogs and people and totally unsocialized and dragging me on leash. He was cunningly intelligent, trying to escape and chase cars, at every opportunity, basically unmanageable for me. I was faced with the fact that with six prior foster homes, he would likely be put down. David unpacked his lack of socialization with lots of pack-time with other dogs. He guided him to understand the basic behaviors expected and trained me how to assert my leading him as his owner. I was not a quick student. Frankly, I was awkward and insecure and over-loved Ollie. David pushed me to consistently command and become natural in doing so, and within two weeks I took home literally a different dog. I was changed. Ollie and I can now go on long walks off leash without any fear that Ollie will attack every dog we meet, as he did before. He wont drag me on leash. He is friendly, playful and obedient. He is a joy to be with. I cannot thank David enough for giving me the gift of a loving companion. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ! I have adopted Ollie and I never could have without this training.

David is an amazing trainer. We brought Mango, our 10 month old GSD. A wonderful dog, he started to become very aggressive w anyone who walked in our driveway or home. Mango, who is a Houdini, can open any locked door and had gotten out of our house a few times. We were concerned for the safety of others. David came highly recommended for GSDs. During our first visit, he evaluated Mango and found that he was fear based, tightly wound and very spoiled. David crated Mango for 2 weeks in his spotless kennel. I trained daily w David and got to see, daily, how happy, calm and well adjusted Mango had become. I got update videos and knew Mango was so playing and also training hard. Mango is home now. What a difference! He listens, is calm and is a happier dog. We drop Mango off 1 time a week for daycare where he plays with his friends and learns new training. I would highly recommend David for any dog.

Absolutely amazing training! I brought in my anxious, reactive dog for a comprehensive evaluation which helped me learn so much more about my dog. We just finished up the board and train program and we are absolutely amazed at his progress. I have a more confident, happier dog already and I am eager to continue coming back for the day program for more socialization and skill training. The best part is my dog fell in love with the trainer David and it made me feel so comfortable knowing my dog was in amazing hands!

We recently started working with David with our 3-4 year old Pitbull Zuko who we recently adopted in August. Before David, Zuko would pull on the leash, run after cars, and always had his tail in between his legs. After just six days with David, he no longer pulls on the leash because David not only trained Zuko but he trained us too which was CRUCIAL. He also truly cares about your pet just like if they were his own. You don’t get that everyone. He wants to see you and your pet succeed and be happy. I also love how honest he was and how he was pushing us to do our best for Zuko.
