My german shepherd puppy went to Adam for a 3 week board and train service. I received updates frequently, his communication was great, he was very quick and thorough answering questions and clarifying anything I needed more guidance in. He suggested easy ways to incorporate training in daily life, and where to go from here. I know my relationship with my dog will be better from here on out. I will be scheduling my follow up training sessions soon!

I reached out to Adam (Katzk9)out of desperation with my 2 year old German Shepherd Kiko after dealing with aggression towards humans aswell as myself (his owner). My dog went into 7 week board and train and adam set an amazing foundation. He has given us great tools such as the e collar and informed us greatly in how to continue training with Kiko at home. Adam came to the conclusion that my dogs aggression is fear based and lacking trust. He expressed that Kiko just doesn’t look for human attention and he likes to be left alone. He told us that we as owners need to advocate for our dog and to not put Kiko in any situation that can make him uncomfortable. 2 weeks after Kikos return I can safely say that I can confidently take his collar off without fear of getting bit, something I couldn’t do before. Not only has Adam helped me with my dog but he has also given me to tools to be confident in myself. I will forever recommend Adam to anyone!

After adopting a blind puppy, we quickly realized the basic Petco class wasn't going to help us. I started searching for a trainer and came across Katz K9 through a recommendation. We started with a few classes, and I really liked how adaptable Adam was with training. I was able to bring both my 3 year old GSP and the blind puppy to class but focus on each individual needs instead of following a rigid training schedule. After a few classes, we scheduled a 3 week board and train. The boys now easily stay in place anywhere I take them, and their recall is fantastic! Working with Adam has given us the skills and confidence we need in town and on the trail.
