Kat the Dog Lady

Kat has been awesome to work with. She first met Duke back in May. He was a wild puppy. She has help mold the both of us into happy dog and owner. Duke is 80 pounds at 9 months old, so he is still very much a puppy. And a meat head sometimes. But he’s coming around with the help of Kat. She also is very much making sure I’m getting trained too. I look forward to working with Kat on many things moving forward.

My dog was a ball of stress before we met Kat. I adopted Petey from a local rescue, he didn't have the best life before us, and unfortunately went through a great deal of hardships which made him loose confidence in his surroundings and himself. Petey recently passed, but I am very grateful for the peace of mind and confidence Kat brought out of Petey. It made his short time here worth it. Kat, thank you for your devotion to him and to our bond. Your passion and love for the mission are greatly appreciated!

In 2021, my family and I were terrified that we would be unable to handle our staffordshire/bulldog mix's (Mocha) building behavioral issues. She was impossible to walk on a leash and had intense reactivity that had resulted in nipping that was bordering full on biting. Being around other dogs or strangers was extremely stressful to her. She had even been turned down by another trainer who supposedly specialized in 'aggressive behavior' due to these concerns. But when I reached out to Kat, she didn't hesitate for a moment to help us. She eased my fears immediately by explaining the entire training process and gave me advice and resources on how to begin tackling my dog's issues. After a meet and greet, I felt zero worry in handing our dog over to her care. (And Mocha I believe sensed Kat's confidence, too, as she accepted her handling almost right away aha). She gave constant updates on Mocha's progress and not only built up Mocha's confidence, but my own. Even today, a couple years later, she checks in with us and cares deeply about those she has helped. Truly, Kat helped save Mocha's life as I can now take her with me in public safely--which is especially important as Mocha is a special needs dog with semi-frequent vet trips. Kat's lessons also carried on to our other dog, who was a puppy at the time, and he's benefited greatly. I'm bad at expressing my gratitude towards her properly, but know that your dog will be in incredibly good hands with Kat!
