Kat Dog Behavior

I went through other private trainers for my 1 yo corgi mix's separation anxiety and leash reactivity, but we still struggled so much until we found Kat and booked an in-home session. She immediately did an insightful assessment of my pup and gave us uncomplicated, effective homework. Her training was tailored to my pup's specific temperament and needs. After in-home sessions, structured day train, and group classes, I am now able to walk my pup stress-free through my busy neighborhood and his separation anxiety has pretty much resolved. In addition to being a brilliant trainer, I appreciate how Kat brings such kindness and empathy to her clients. My pup is now a calmer, more confident version of himself thanks to Kat and I could not recommend her more highly!!

I would give this trainer all the stars if I could. I have never had a dog before so having her to help with him. She is amazing at teaching him boundaries and obedience but also teaching me how I can better support him and give him things I didn’t know dogs needed. She’s also incredibly understanding and will work with you on anything you need dog wise. Please please please reach out to her if you need a dog trainer ‘cause she is the best of the best and I would recommend her to anyone who needed help!

After trying group training classes with my then one and a half year old aussiedoodle, Charlie, I was desperate to find more individualized help. I was so happy to find Kat!! Charlie has attended Kat's in home day train as well as individual sessions at our home. These sessions have helped me become a more confident dog owner and, in return, have reduced Charlie's anxiety. Kat is very directive in session while still maintaining an encouraging attitude. Her homework exercises were realistic and maintainable. We will be forever grateful for the impact Kat has made on our little family!!
