Kanye Corso Training

Both my husband and myself and long time trainer friend (who I've known for 10+years, but due to working full time as a zoo keeper so couldn't help me with training my 3rd Service Dog ) we all absolutely love Zack and Kanye Corso Training. He has done above and beyond to make sure that my new pup passed all of his testing, and is completely ready not only for public access but to be able to task during outings including under high stress. He has helped me build his confidence 10 fold and to move him closer and closer to becoming"bombproof" as he matures, so that he can help me with various medical conditions that I have after service in the US Military for 8yrs. He gets me, since, he too is both a Veteran and prior first responder. He DEFINITELY gets this breed and knows how to work with them ESPECIALLY thru their teenage fear stages to where my K9 is built up rather than developing neurotic behaviors that would make him unpredictable. Because of Zacks extensive knowledge of Cane Corso breed, and around both working line AND giant breed dogs, every time I was challenged, whether in public by some super random unpredictable event, or another out of control dog or human, Zack was there to coach me thru it, even if he wasn't there in person. This helped us with our confidence in handling crazy situations together as a team. Recently we did our first flight, which ended up, (Murphy's Law) being baptism by fire... But Zack went out of his way to do shuttle, airport, TSA, etc training, and this was irreplaceable in making us successful. Makes me really emotional because without this... I don't even know... Because as luck would have it, I ended up having an episode towards end of the 1st leg of flights, thru layover at one of the busiest airports in the country, and into start of the second leg of next flight to our destination! Because he coached me thru all the different parts of the process and told me what to look for with my K9, etc, my K9 was confident, and an angel on the flight, DESPITE other people's poorly trained dogs lunging and barking at him! And despite so many new things like the high speed rail, etc, he was STILL able to perform MULTIPLE of his medical tasks and support me when I was struggling. Without Zacks support, encouragement, and belief in us as a team, I wouldn't have had opportunity to fly cross country and some of my freedoms restored. In addition, He created a tailored training plan that was perfect for me& my K9 boy, meeting is where we were at, to fulfill the awesome Sierra Delta grant. He doesn't overcharge either, charges only a 1/3 of what other Service Dog trainers charge. I would've never have been able to get this far had I gone with someone else. They would have ran thru my grant in 10 sessions. All things considered, this is my 3rd Service Dog, and I'm NOT talking ESA (Emotional Support) here, I'm talking full on, Service Dog that meets ADI & ADA requirements or IAADP (International Assoc Assistant Dog Partners) criteria. So I'm comparing both my current SDK9 with my prior 2 K9's and training organizations. Also, I do have an ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) B.Mod background from UofH, so I know many of the skills, but was rusty due to it having been 7-10yrs since training my last, now retired SD. Additionally each has different needs, slightly different temperaments, but with Zacks experience, he knew how to navigate all of that. Hah! And bc of my experience, I really put(poor guy!) Zack thru the wringer of an interview process and vetting, meeting him multiple times in person to quiz him before I would ever even work with him!! Obviously, he passed everything with flying colors!! AND he also met my husband's high standards to where he wasn't worried about my safety nor Zack or any of his employees behaving inappropriately NOR mistreating our dog that he had bought for me. Lastly we were even more strict bc my original SD prospect suddenly passed away and couldn't stomach losing another, and needed someone we could trust. Zack & KCT is that someone.True loyal Vet brother.

Stay far far away, the worst training. Picked my dog up from a month of boarding training and had to bring my pup straight to the vet. Pup limping on three legs, 50% of his hair missing, server ear infections in both ears and a $500 vet bill. $3500 wasted for training that did not happen. My pups knows no more than he knew before bringing him here. And no it wasn't food allergy, never had any issues until I drop him off at this hell hole.

They’ve helped us out a ton with boarding over the years, some planned, some very last minute and they’ve never made it a problem. During the storm, they took in my mom’s dog on super short notice and even went to pick her dog up just to help keep things calm and less stress on her. They’ve also trained both of our dogs (Golden retriever and Golden Doodle) through their training programs, and the difference has been huge. Our dogs are night and day compared to before. I also really appreciate that they still work with the dogs during boarding instead of just letting them sit in a kennel. Their pricing is fair, and you can tell they genuinely care about the animals. If you’re looking for training or boarding, I’d definitely recommend them!
