As a first-time German Shepherd mom, I knew I wanted to give Mini the very best start in life. She went to Andrea for the three-week Board & Train program at just five months old, and I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience. When Mini came home, the transformation was incredible. She is noticeably more confident, calm, focused, and secure. She no longer pulls on the leash, she waits patiently at doors, she sits, stays, downs, and actually listens. One of my favorite moments was asking her to stay on her platform while I worked outside. Before training, she would have barked the entire time. Instead, she calmly stayed where she was asked, watching me with confidence. It honestly felt like she had gone away to Harvard and came home with a whole new understanding of the world. What impressed me most wasn't just the obedience—it was Mini's happiness. She came home looking confident, relaxed, and excited to work with me. That tells me Andrea builds trust along with discipline. As the owner, I know my work is just beginning. Andrea gave Mini an incredible foundation, and now it's my responsibility to stay consistent and continue learning. Knowing Andrea is there to guide us gives me tremendous confidence. I have two Boston Terrier pups. They first met Andrea at a puppy play date. They had some basic training, but after meeting Andrea, we decided to do a Board & Train for the pups to get some solid foundational learning. A few months later, we did it again to reinforce what they had learned, and to pick up some more skills. After each B&T session, Andrea spent plenty of time with us to go over what she had done, how she had done it, and what we needed to do to continue the pups on their fine path. If you know BT's, you know their special kind of energy and crazy. Now I had two of these lovable dogs that have excellent manners! Thank you, Andrea!
