K9’s In Harmony- Dog Training

The Pawington Inn and Academy was the best decision we made for ourselves and our 16 month old Bernedoodle Juelian. Trisha listened to our concern’s and what we wanted at the end of the training . We had a 80 pound dog dragging us on walks and not listening. We were very frustrated. After 4 weeks with Trisha he is walking well on leash , listening not bolting out door, and he learned to sit and stay and to come when called and much more ! We are so happy with the outcome of the training. Trisha lays the foundation and gives you the tools to continue working with your dog. We wanted Juelian to be part of the things we do and now we can take him with us ,with confidence! Susan

I recently took my two Great Pyrenees in for grooming services. They are both working dogs and live in the pasture, but needed a good bath and brush out. Trisha did an amazing job with them both. They both appeared very comfortable and relaxed with her. I was afraid they would be a lot of work and extremely expensive to have cleaned up. The price was beyond reasonable. Trisha was great to work around my schedule as well. She kept me updated on their progress and gave me plenty of notice when they would be ready for pickup. I highly recommend them. It will both be going in for regular grooming sessions.

There are people who say they love animals by word and there are people who love animals by action. Mrs. Schaeffer (Trisha) is the latter. The fact she has worked at a veterinarian’s clinic shows to me the amount of commitment she has to the welfare of animals and that takes a special kind of person to have that desire. When it came to making a decision to get into a medical field she chose to help our four-legged friends. This tells me she puts the value of animals over the value of money when it comes to solidifying a career. I have visited her property on several occasions and have witnessed this personally. Her level of care and attention to each animal in her care is matchless. In fact, dare I say, each animal within her guardianship feels like they’re the only ones there and gets the personal attention they need by Trisha. Her style of training and care goes a long way in keeping all the animals living together in peace and harmony. Trisha not only enjoys what she does but with the environment she creates, the animals enjoy it too. Each time I visit, the animals are always running and playing. They have no care in the world and just want to have fun. It’s so infectious, if fact, I want to play with them. I would, without a doubt, entrust Mrs. Schaeffer with any of my dogs.
