K9rundown Dog Training

Chase charged me $200 to come to my house and give me bad advice. I have a 12 week old doberman with a typical puppy biting/nipping issue. Chase advised to grab her by the snout and shut her down, show her who the boss is. Her biting got harder and more intense. Since, I have consulted another trainer who said you never do that to a doberman, it only encourages a fight. He also suggested a choke lead, which is harmful to a young pups throat. $200 for 20 minutes of bad advice. Chase responded to this post saying he never did a lesson, that is true. He came and charged $200 for a evaluation of a puppy and gave me advice on the nipping and leash walking. Both turned out to be bad advice after seeing and believing and also advice from 2 other trainers. I should have known Chase was a taker and to beware when he wanted that much money to evaluate a puppy. I saw good reviews and trusted him that we would continue with lessons.. Its not like I had a problem dog that needed to be "evaluated", for peets sake she is a baby! You should be ashamed of yourself!

Chase is amazing! I have 2 Aussies who were out of control. Two weeks with Chase and they are different pups! Chase always makes the time to answer my questions and show me how to be a better dog parent. I will never board or train with anyone else. When my girls are with Chase I know they are safe and well cared for. I would recommend K9rundown to anyone who needs a trainer who knows his stuff and gives you the one on one attention needed for a well behaved pup.

Chase and the board and train program deserve a 10/10. My dog, a hard-headed hunting dog, was starting to make parts of my life a real challenge, but Chase immediately understood what was needed. After just two weeks, the transformation has been remarkable. Chase is responsive, easy to work with, and flexible, which made the whole experience stress-free. He also gave me clear, practical guidance on how to maintain the progress at home. I’d highly recommend this program to anyone, whether they have a challenging dog or just want to refine their training. It’s been a game-changer for us.

I reached out to Chase right after we brought our second child home from the hospital and our 4 year old rescue mutt nipped at our toddler. Chase was out to do an evaluation within the week and we decided to move forward with lessons where he came to us once a week. Throughout our time together my dog learned so much, so quickly and I learned even more. I have a lot more control over my dog and she’s grown to respect me more. Our last session together we visited a large off leash dog park. During one interaction with another owner and dog, our pup sat, and stayed put while we walked away to chat with the other owner, all while she was off leash herself. I felt a lot of pride for how much she’s improved and what a good girl she is. I would absolutely recommend Chase to anyone that wants to improve their relationship with their dog, as well as build the confidence of both owner and dog.
