I cannot say enough wonderful things about this canine training school and their incredible trainers. Our Sheepadoodle, Lola, began training with them as a puppy, and now—3.5 years later—she still maintains the strong obedience foundation they helped build. The difference their training has made in Lola’s behavior, confidence, and responsiveness has been remarkable. What truly sets this school apart is the passion and care the trainers have for the dogs they work with. You can immediately tell that they genuinely love their lives working with these majestic animals. Their knowledge, patience, and dedication create an environment where both dogs and owners feel supported and successful. Beyond obedience training, they went above and beyond to work with our family on seizure-response behaviors for our daughter who has epilepsy. That level of commitment and compassion meant the world to us. Even today, Lola continues to do wonderfully, and we credit so much of that success to the foundation they helped establish. Because of our positive experience, I am already looking into sending our 5-month-old Bernedoodle for training soon—he definitely needs it! Knowing the quality of training and care they provide gives us complete confidence that he will thrive there as well. I can't say enough great things about Stone Hill Kennel and especially our trainer, CJ. My 1½-year-old Cane Corso, Joanna, recently completed her service dog training there, and the transformation has been nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, CJ showed a deep understanding of both the breed and the unique needs of service dog work. Joanna went into training with a strong personality, but CJ’s calm, consistent, and expert approach brought out her focus, obedience, and confidence. The true test came recently when we flew internationally to Spain. Joanna handled the entire travel process airports, flights, crowds, and new environments with the same discipline and poise CJ taught her. I had an excellent experience at Stone Hill Kennels. Although I was a seasoned dog trainer, owner, and rescuer/foster, I found myself at a loss with a Cane CorsoX Neapolitan Mastiff cross. I was relatively unfamiliar with ecollars and a bit reticent to explore; however, they guided me and my dog every step of the way and it ended up being appropriate for my dog and myself. I can say with assurance it’s not needed for every dog, nor should someone untrained order one and try to train their dog and themselves, but these folks are competent, compassionate, and hold your hand( figuratively) every step of the way. They have experience with every type of breed and every size. I know this personally because I invaded their space and saw them working dogs from basic obedience, canine good citizen, protection, police/protection etc. I also had support after I took my dog home. My follow up foster dogs and personal dogs I have managed on my own, but I would not hesitate to reach out to them again if I needed a problem solved or a specific dog worked with. Expensive but worth every penny, especially with the 1:1 throughout training and after training follow up 👏👍
