The absolute worst dog training facility. Where do I start: the filthy facility itself, the handlers, the training, etc? Let’s talk price…the price was over $6000.00. For a good trainer you expect to pay this price, I suppose. When you drop your dog off, they incorporate taxes. Now looking at the tax laws in CT I am almost certain that the “tax” is extra money for the kennel itself and to go into the owners’ pockets. I will call the secretary of states’ office ti confirm this. The facility was filthy. Reminded me a state ran dog pound. It’s amazing they’re allowed to operate at that level. Furthermore, you’d think that with all of the money they receive they would invest in a state of the art, or at minimum, clean facility. Let’s talk training, my dog spent weeks at this facility. He came back home the exact same way he went there. When I picked up my dog they stated, “you have to continue training him at home”, WHAT?! You mean to tell me that I spent close to $7000 and I still have to train my dog the basics?! He won’t just sit, stay, heal, free? I have to follow your training regimen? Well why the hell did I pay you close to $7000 if I’m going to train him myself?!?! This review is written months after the boarding was over. I say boarding because it wasn’t training. I’m merely giving my experience. Take heed if you would like to. Or experience this yourself. They’ll tell you about the training you’ll have to do once you pick up your dog. And about the “taxes” when you drop them off. Be very careful people. Updated Response: This is response to the owner that responded. The review is NOT dishonest. Your training facility is trash. The fact that you have the audacity to respond to my post, an opinion piece, as being dishonest is absurd. I can go to 5 star hotel and receive bad service. Even prior to this review you weren’t 5 star. You had bad reviews. You have been open for some years now and you have less than 80 reviews. I am certain you have had more than 80 customers. And I am also certain that some, or many, were dissatisfied with you and your facility. For you to say my review is a lie is beyond dishonest. My dog did bite ONE person and this person decided to stick his hand in our gate to pet our dog. After his finger was bitten he apologized profusely for having done such a thing and acknowledged that he was not supposed to cross our fence line. Now you are the person who is being blatantly dishonest and I assume you are being dishonest because of my very honest review therefore you want to salvage some business integrity. Also, don’t you operate off the premise that you train “aggressive” dogs? Seeing as you’re saying my dog is aggressive, are you now saying the reason you were unsuccessful with training him is because you actually don’t have the knowledge and ability to train aggressive dogs? Perhaps you shouldn’t mislead people Chris. The videos prove nothing. My dog sat, stayed, laid down prior to ever going to your facility. You don’t so called “train” a dog then tell the person to train them when they go home. I understand using the same command words and so forth. But your son said “train”. As I stated, after spending close to $7000 the “training was “subpar” at best. As for the “two weeks late” situation, my family and I were going on vacation prior to the date of pickup. The trainer at the time stated “I don’t think you should board him right after training. All of the training would have been a waste”. Therefore your team decided to keep him until the vacation was over. Not as a courtesy to us but trying to preserve his training. No I did not participate in the “recommended” owner training. I am in another state. YOU yourself stated that people in other states and countries don’t come to the owner training mainly because of distance. It’s not obligatory but recommended. Your words, not mine. More deception Chris. Also, I did stay for more than an hour with your son. Time I actually didn’t have but I indulged him. Let the public decide who’s being dishonest
