I contacted K9Katelynn by email, wrote about my dog and 5 minutes later they contacted me giving me options for coming to our house and giving us an evaluation!!!, I can’t wait to hear about our dog and start training him with the knowledge and experience of them ♥️.

**Long Review!** I don’t like to give one star reviews unless I really dislike a place. Which is the case here. Basically we invite Mr. Dog Trainer Dude (forgot his name) to our house. He seems okay. Not nice but not all that mean. And then we go out into the yard to talk about some training stuff. He meets our dog and all is well. But then he starts to pat her. Hard. Which confused me but I think to myself “What do I know? Maybe it’s therapeutic for her”. And to this day I don’t know. Maybe it was therapeutic. Anyways, he tried to make a metaphor of some sort and asked my dad if he went to college. Which is kind of crazy to ask. I doubt he would have asked us that if we were non-black. He also said some other stuff but I don’t quite remember it all since the last time we met was in October. This is not the first time something like this has happened to us unfortunately. Being black dog owners makes us more susceptible to prejudice in the pet space(training and grooming). It is quite sad that in 2023 people still believe that all black people are uneducated. TLDR: Racist + Passive Aggressive
I submitted a request online for an evaluation and was contacted within the hour. So far they are very responsive. I look forward to meeting the trainer and seeing what they can do for my pups!
