I couldn’t have asked for a better experience training my dog with Ron. He truly knows his stuff and, more importantly, takes the time to explain why he does the things he does. We had previously tried dog training through a pet store, and the difference was night and day. You really do get what you pay for. With Ron, everything is personalized to the individual dog and what they need rather than following a generic training program. When we started, my puppy was extremely stubborn and I was honestly very frustrated. Ron was incredibly patient and encouraging throughout the entire process. He was also always available between sessions when I had questions, which made me feel supported and confident that I was doing things correctly. After 8 sessions with Ron, my dog has learned to walk nicely both on and off leash, stay until called, come when called, remain calm and non-reactive around other dogs, and overall behave better as a K9 in society. What I really appreciate is that the training carries over into our everyday life. These aren’t just things he does during a training session — I have the tools to continue reinforcing them during our daily walks, outings, and interactions. Beyond the training itself, Ron helped me work through that initial frustration and build a much stronger connection with my dog. I feel so much more confident and better equipped as a dog owner, and I genuinely feel like he has given me the knowledge and tools to train my future dogs better as well. If you’re on the fence about getting professional training, I would absolutely say do it. The 8 sessions were 100% worth it, and I’m so grateful for the progress we’ve made. I would highly recommend Ron to anyone looking for personalized, effective dog training!
