My husband & I are in our 70’s. After losing our 15 year old Golden Retriever a couple years ago, someone contacted us asking if we would be interested in a brother/sister pair of Golden Doodle puppies. Against our better judgment but missing our Golden Retriever Stitch so badly, we decided that perhaps the puppies would fill that void for us. The puppies, Lady & Tramp, were born 7/9/24 & we lost our Stitch on 7/25/24. We bought the puppies home around the 1st of October. Having not had puppies for a long time, our new babies were giving us a run for our money! My husband & I were doing all we could to work with them on training but them being litter mates & brother & sister too, they both required a lot of attention! The final straw was when the male pup, Tramp, undercut me & I fell on my hip! Luckily It was not broken but I had to be on a walker for 3 weeks in recovery from inflammation. We were given Courtney’s name & information which we used to immediately contact her. Lady & Tramp went thru 4 weeks of training with her & it has made a huge difference in our lives with Lady & Tramp! We now can enjoy our fur babies being with us in our home & in our travels. We continue to follow up on what guidance Courtney gave us & work with Lady & Tramp to be the best trained dogs around! They still try us on listening but now we have the tools we need to correct bad behavior thanks to Courtney! We would highly recommend her services to anyone wanting Pet Training & give you your sanity back!🐕🥰

Courtney at K9aholics of NC took our six-month-old golden retriever puppy, Athena, into her board and train program. At the time, Athena had been litter box trained and was free feeding which she’d learned at her breeder. Within a day Athena was learning to “go potty,” outside. Courtney was concerned about Athena being thin. When we discussed this, it reaffirmed by gut feeling that Athena was in excellent hands! Over the weeks whenever I requested pictures or videos Courtney responded within less than 24 hours. The videos showed excellent improvement in Athena’s behavior which included excellent listening skills and obedience. An e-collar was part of the training but even when the battery died on me the dog still listened to my commands and came back from the outer perimeter of our property. When Athena came home Courtney spent time with us going over the commands Athena had learned. In addition, she gave us a document that explained the commands to us. Athena’s confidence level has improved leaps and bounds. I’ve been around dogs and dog training all of my life and I can tell you that Courtney is top notch at what she does with her clients and their dogs.

Ten out of ten would recommend! We did a board and train with our 6 month old golden retriever. Before the training, he wouldn’t walk on a leash, was lacking confidence, was developing separation issues and despised his crate. We had no knowledge of how to teach him basic commands. After training, everything has changed. Courtney modified his unwanted behaviors and gave us tools in our toolbox to be able to continue training. She had good communication with us before, during, and after the training. We are very satisfied with our experience and look forward to continue working with her in the future.
