Tara was able to pinpoint the issues with my dog and provide accurate training regime for us. I learned how to lead my dog and now we have a wonderful relationship. My dog is happy and trust me. I can't even remember the last time I had to yell or say no to my dog. There was no need to! The series of training helps me communicate positively to my dog and it works! Highly recommend for anyone who may have adopted a misunderstood buddy. Tara really can help!

We did a stay and train for our small dog when we used to live in Austin a few years ago. The experience was not good. When we came to pick up our dog, we noticed she had cuts/bleeding all over her paws. No one at this facility had given us a heads up about her injuries during the stay or acknowledged it when we brought it up. I know that we signed a disclosure stating that the trainers are not liable for any health problems that occur during the stay, but we would’ve appreciated it if someone had at least told us about how badly her paws were cut/hurting. She was quite depressed for a while and was limping when we brought her home. We regret doing the stay and train because our dog already knew most commands beforehand and only needed obedience with slight behavior training. She is the friendliest dog ever and was not aggressive at all. Before the stay and train, we did one socializing group session, and that one seemed to be fine. This facility probably works a lot better for bigger dogs. Edit: Thank you for apologizing and acknowledging Snowy's distress now. For transparency purposes, we only received ONE update from your team during Snowy's stay AFTER we emailed you asking for one. The reason we didn't bring bedding or toys is because your original boarding email recommended not to if the dog bites/destroys it and because your facility is not responsible for loss or damaged items. After, we did ask you if you wanted us to bring a blanket or anything else to make her feel more comfortable, but your team didn't respond. In that same update email, you also stated that Snowy's biting was not aggressive, and that she is very mouthy. We don't appreciate you framing her behaviors in an aggressive way. She was 6-7 months old and was a puppy with separation anxiety at that time. Snowy is now 3 years old and is doing very well. We worked really hard to research, watch YouTube videos, and train her ourselves. She's completely potty trained now, has no issues being in a crate, not mouthy, and LOVES going on walks. We're glad that you changed your policies to protect your staff, but please be mindful of the dogs' health and condition too. We added pictures of Snowy after we picked her up from the boarding facility and got her groomed. She didn't smile for a while until 1-2 months later. You can see her raw and scabbed paws.
