After my dog had an unsavory experience with another dog it left her with some dog reactivity. After working with Mike she can now walk and be near other dogs again. She's also learned some awesome agility skills and we passed our akc rally Novice first course. He really cares for the dogs he cares for, very knowledgeable, willing to adapt and listen to your concerns. He also will raise your confidence in yourself to be a strong handler. Strongly recommend!

You will do yourself an injustice not to train with Michael Behr. Michael is very knowledgeable and fun to work with. He really cares about the dogs he trains and his human clientele. I also love that he trains according to the breed which is very helpful. Michael always makes himself available for any concerns or questions which is priceless. Post training review: I have recently completed the training with Michael . My Shiba Inu has been awarded the Good Citizens Award as an extra perk to the additional training. I cannot express enough, how rewarding the training with Michael and k9werks experience has been! I have trained many pups of various breeds throughout my life; some with other training facilities, some just on my own. In have to admit this experience, at the least, has turned out to be the most beneficial and rewarding experience I have ever had. Not only is the effort worth it, but it is such a fun and rewarding experience that I was sorry when it was completed. I happen to live across the street from the facility, and my pup still "cries" to see Michael every time I pass by! This puppy clearly loves Michael, and the training was fun for him also! At times his wife Laurie will assist, and she is also very fun to work aside! They clearly love dogs as much as I do! They really care about not only the success of the clients, but their k9 clients as well! To train with anyone else in my opinion is unfortunate, because if you want positive and somewhat rapid results, you will do yourself a favor and invest in k9werks with Michael.

Mike was great to work with. Very flexible both with schedules and with curriculum which was great, and the only way that both my husband and I were able to attend every session instead of just one of us, which allowed us to be more consistent with the training. Springsteen started as a sweet dog who shied away from strangers and pulled on every walk, and left as a more more confident dog who only sometimes pulls on a walk. And of course he’s still sweet. We searched around for the perfect fit for training of our 12 week old brother and sister GSD puppies. Mike responded promptly and with his vast knowledge of dogs (and particularly GSD) we knew we had found the perfect fit. K9 Werks with Mike and Laurie worked with both puppies and their unique individual personalities, along with ours. Together we learned the behaviors of our puppies, how to respond and react to each of them. K9 Werks created a flexible schedule that worked with our busy lives. We are thankful and appreciative to have found someone who genuinely cares for our dogs the way we do. We have already recommended K9 Werks to friends and family and will continue! We look forward to working with K9 Werks again.
