K9 Vision at the DLC

We can't say enough good things about Myles and the staff at K9 Vision at the DLC. Our two-year old French bulldog, Violet, was kicked out of her last daycare for being a pest. Myles welcomed her into the K9 Vision family with open arms. She loves spending time at their facility for training and when we board her. Violet is becoming a completely different dog one training session at a time. She has so much more self-control. Myles is very polite, professional, and loving towards our dog. Our Frenchie responds so well to him and waits by her leash every morning hoping to go to their facility. The training and boarding sessions are easy to book and pay for online and their schedule is very accommodating. Their facility is very nice and pickup/drop off is very easy. Lastly, my wife and I sat down with our young daughters about a year ago, before we met Myles, and prepared them for Violet to be rehomed. They were devastated. After Violet's first session with Myles, he assured us, "We won't allow that to happen." Promise kept. The family and I are grateful we called K9 Vision. We highly recommend them! Violet isn't going anywhere.

This is an establishment of questionable integrity. Needless to say, my husband and I did not board our two dogs here (big dog: pit/rottie (Chi) and small dog: shih-poo (Nola)). We were initially seeking a boarding facility that offered training should we choose to utilize such training services in the future for command reinforcement. We completed an assessment for both of our dogs and the original feedback given was that both our our dogs did well, however our smaller dog experienced some "anxiety" "nothing major and no red flags", with no behavior notes for our big dog. We were advised on pricing and we're initially agreeable to the daily boarding costs. We were even offered a first responder discount. When the dates for boarding approached, we reached out to schedule boarding. We ended up getting a quote from Myles adding a $200 "last minute boarding fee" that he stated is to be incurred with any booking less than 24 hours. It's either you have availability or you don't. My husband and I decided to push the boarding back a couple of days to avoid that fee only to get hit with ANOTHER FEE of $150/night not previously discussed. Myles added mandatory training with boarding for our big dog's "aggressive behavior", which was news to us being that he NEVER mentioned aggression in the previous assessment. Honestly, general impression was that the management is disorganized and that we were just being milked for money unnecessarily. Overall dissatisfaction and disappointment.
